  • Here I install upgrades while waiting for more upgrades hahaha. I missed out on getting lights for my Bronco so I snagged the Defender ones for now and might as well fix both up. Next is low range gears, metal hub hexes and beadlock wheels.

    Thanks for the video. Almost got the light kit but we were already buying the trailer. There's also a light kit for the trailer😂

    Thank you for this video I had a hard time trying to install the heat sink at 1st. I remove the motor from the transmission so I could slide the heat sink, but it kept getting caught with the titan sticker that's on the motor. I don't want to ruin that sticker lol, so I just gave up until I just saw your video. Thanks again

    Holy cow you 3D printed a indoor rock course, I have to check that out, I'm way into 3D printing and crawling

      they are just a bunch of files of rocks that I resized and printed and use double sided tape to secure them down on my table. They have been hours of fun hahaha.

    I really like the defender body, I have a rochobby katana V2 and it's a nice rig but it needed a 2 speed for outdoor use. How does the trx4m stand up speed wise for trailing?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  Před rokem +1

      In my opinion the Trx4m sits between the Katana and FMS FJ Cruiser. That's just from judging its stock performance. The Trx4m is the easiest to work on and after the low range gears installed ($5) it's a whole new animal.

      @@RunThatRC I've wondered about getting one, I REALLY like defender bodies and hard bodies. And they finally did both....I really wanted to hold out for wpl to make one because I prefer the 1/16-1/12 scale more, since they travel better outside.

      Definitely 1:16 for real outdoor trails.

      b16, c44 then b36 is the most time consuming.

    I doubt the heatsink will work properly through the sticker on motor ..

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  Před 9 měsíci

      It definitely still works but would be more efficient without the sticker and some thermal paste. With the low range gears the motor doesn't get too hot trailing around so its good for now.

    How do you take the heat sink off now?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  Před rokem

      you can pull it off straight up but that takes effort. The easiest way is to remove the motor from gearbox and slide it off the motor.
