Learn how to deploy static sites using devops principles and why you want to do it that way. To illustrate this concept, I deploy a static site created with Hugo to Cloudflare Pages with Github workflow.

One of the hardest things about learning is understanding how the different components work together. Using this guide, you start with a topic that interests or relates to you. At the end of the section, other related topics are shown allowing you to pick and choose your own path to DevOps mastery.
Check it out and leverage the skills you learn to advance your career as a developer, sysadmin, IT Operations, QA and more!
Hello, thank you for the content that you bring to us, i look forward to see more of your content also there are such topics as migrations , DB clusters , Terraform which i would love to study from your channel. Looking foward for new videos :)))
Right on, thanks!
Working on some more content for you today! 🚀
Hey Will big fan of your content! I’m from Tucson so just a few hours south of you. Currently a SysAdmin adding devops skills to my toolkit before I look to transition over. I would like to eventually pivot into business ownership with a sort of DevOps as a service or partnership with small businesses similar to what it seems you have done. Coming from a business background prior to tech I love using tech to improve and automate business processes. Any advice for someone like me?
Right on, thanks for the feedback!
Definitely have some thoughts on this subject: it's a great model and one critical factor to success is that your target market doesn't know the word "devops" or care what it means.
It's helpful to frame your services around the pain they are experiencing:
- it takes a long time to get new features to production
- slow performance
- broken/down sites
- escalating costs
All of those are problems that can be helped by implementing devops practices but are stated in words the decision makers understand.
Focus on that and target your messaging to the decision makers of those businesses, not the developers that work for them.
Not to sound dumb, what editor is that?
I have used Notepad for years.
It's Jetbrains Webstorm.
I switched to it a few years back and have zero regrets.
