Panda started dropping items, sometimes that can be seen as bm, often followed up with hiding farms after etc. I always leave when oppo does that aswell, In my mind already won and we both know it and I dont care about the mmr anyway. But who knows, maybe his inet disconnected :)

After watching this series I finally bought the game during the summer sale and planning to jump into it this weekend after about 15 years thanks to Grubby. At this point I think he has done more than Blizzard to attract new players…
Sadly, Blizzard has done way more to push players away than Grubby could ever contend with.

Since watching you do bronze league, I bought the game again and also bought it for two of my friends. Currently on chapter 3 of undead campaign on hard. Once my friends and I are done with the story, we’re planning in doing ladder matches. Wish us bronzies luck

Love this series so much Grubby! Helps improve my understanding of the game by seeing "mistakes" and hearing why they're mistakes rather than "big brain" moves (like upgrading before producing the unit and how that causes a valley in pressure and unit presence).

PLU was roleplaying, he knows how drunk the panda gets and just follow the script.
People like seeing numbers get higher in games! Even if it's too much lumber.

I have only ever played W3 in multiplayer twice. Once against my friend and once a 3v3. The 3v3 was a disaster. But since then I have seen so much Grubby and Wtii playing, that I pick up stuff.
Seeing how these players play, I think I could do pretty well. Except, I don't know build plans. But I would have cancelled that ziggurat and not tanked with grunt. Maybe I should play.

Why doesn't Upkeep affect lumber?
because it was implemented this way. It is a conscious game design decision made by blizzard. I don't know what their reasoning was but considering that you could just make more workers and have them gather wood, there would be little incentive to have upkeep affect wood.

The double belt is much better than making a horde of peasants to aimlessly mine lumber and lose them. It is a bad investment, but at least it doesn't disappear like the most units in the bronze army.

Shadow first could be better in a group scenario. Getting 6 faster maybe with anti magic shells etc from Allies and big heals.

I was calculating if making your grunt tank the first camp could be better. Let's compare, what we get after 2 camps :
1)
Grunt tank camp 1 --> 10% life --> Potion on him for 33 gold
Blademaster tank camp 2 --> The Grunt can heal during this camp as he won't tank
--> Blademaster is 75% life
--> Grunt 100% life
2)
Blademaster tank camp 1 --> 75% HP --> You can't heal him up, as you want him to keep tanking
Blademaster tank camp2 --> 50% HP
Grunt 100% life
So it's kinda not dumb, no?
I like that you thought it through, but the fact is it's just better to tank with blade cause he takes less damage, and you can find timings to heal him with salve
