I want to make some clothespin dolls for Christmas. I use to make clothespin dolls with a pattern from Women’s Day magazine if my memory serves me right. The faces were left open and done with fine colored markers, with a dry brushed cheeks. The dresses with like the Gone with the Wind dresses with netting underskirts. They were ornaments. I still have the pattern and a gazillion vintage clothespins. Some had wire wrapped around in a few places. I don’t know when those were used to hang the laundry. I have different clothespins in several designs from different companies, some in original packs. I like yours because they are primitive and the faces covered in the fabric. Very primitive….Blessings

These are darling. I think if you sewed the head like for a yo yo then it would be easier to smooth it out. Thank you for sharing your pattern. I love hand made ornments on my tree. My 3 grandsons & I make new ornaments each year for their tree at home & mine.

I love these …but a primitive doll wouldn’t need accessories IMHO
