R.I.P. Hummer (2008-2008) 💔
Well it would be totaled but your back seat occupants would be perfectly fine which is all that's relevant.
ME LOVE HUMMER
didnt even break the back windshield lol
I wonder what the difference would be with a tow hitch
Higher risk of injury for the people inside the hummer. Studies show a increase in injury relating to the whiplash effect.
The crash looks pretty bad when you look at the body of the car. But at 2:21 you can see the undercarriage of the H3. It actually performed well, considering the speed it absorbed too. In my opinion if someone was going to repair this car they definitely wouldn't have a problem with fixing the chassis and the other components. They would probably need to get a new shell.
D T the frame is destroyed in the back that's alot of ⏱💵 to do. Best bet replace the whole frame and rear axle components and shell and it's good to go but lots of work and money
sargantTspacekiller pc,xbox, and more The frame is easy to fix. As i mentioned, in the end of the video you can see the undercarriage, the car that crashed barely reached the Exaughst. It will probably cost about 1000 dollars. I've heard the shell is expensive. A good body from a salvage yard can go around 5000 dollars and above. Overall I think it was a good test, considering the speed, the weight that crashed into the rear and that it was at a standstill.
Wait, this was recorded in September 2008 but uploaded 10 years later?
I wonder if the rear spare made the difference? Also still looks useable
Frame took the entire hit. If you're gonna get crashed into, this is the best case scenario for a body on frame vehicle.
Poor Hummer. He started crying.
Part out?
From around 1:03 watch where the rear horizontal longitudinal rail of the chassis aft of the rear wheel and take note that it spears toward the rear passenger backrest area due to the fold.
I wouldn't want to sit in that seat in this crash.
FYI. The spare tire didn't come close to the rear passenger seat.
here's a challenge, find "spare" in my original comment...
Clearly, I mentioned the "rear wheel" which isn't in any way close to "spare".
Also, using standard English, we can see I was stating "the rear longitudinal rail of the chassis" moved toward the rear seat backrest. NO mention of a wheel moving, the wheel was mentioned in order to establish the location of the fold causing this.
I know this is a TROLL reply, however, I thought I should point out the stupidity of the single, small, trolling reply.
also FYI the heatsink from an AMD K6 processor didn't come close to the rear seat.
When was this conducted?
September 12th 2008.
sounded like a dying seal.
i wounder if theres a difference with the military version
There is
Lo Hummer De Papel
9/12/2008
My parents used to have this but they sold it 2 years ago to get a ugly Chrysler 200 I think was the number it was red and had every mod including push bar back tire and sun roof and racks on the roof
Chassis bent!
Why GM stop the production of hummers !!
😒😢😢
Lionheart05419 the recession and the bailout package which was the demise of Pontiac as well
Lionheart05419 there still making hummers. you haven't seen the new hummer that came out this year .its badass.
Poor sales
Lionheart05419 they stated losing money because they used so much gas and gas prices started rising
Technically "Rear overlap crash" ....
Still save honda crv
Que shit of car! Imagine at 100km/h
8 gallons per mile
Christina Andwena 13 actually. I have one
yeah were do you get that its 8 do your research before you act like you know something lol
Nikos Patelidas 13? More like 20. Unless you have the alpha, but even then.
I'm averaging about 18 mpg which is about the same as I got in my Chrysler Town & Country I 💞 my hummer
A. Ovation well mine has 150,000 miles and I estimate 13 to 15. Hummers are hated on so much and I was one of the haters myself until I drove one. I love mine. Dominates on and off road
Seems to be pretty plastic
POINTLESS TEST, A REAL CAR PLEASE.... H3 did very well.
I think hummer is very strong the real is weak
Хамер ,так себе машинёшка ,
I thought hummers were strong I guess I better buy a jeep
I assume you are dead by now from a rollover in a 25 mph anywhere impact in your lil jeepie poo. RIP
Hummer h3 is a joke matchbox
Old chassis, bad result. Honda Civic did better
battycowboy it's a car from 2008 ,try compare them in 2008, civic will became mash potato
Lmao you're comparing a Civic to a Hummer.
Let me teach you something the h3 is better in crash the hummer h3 weights more heavier cars usually win in tug of wars and crash tests
