Moving Logs with Avant

Moving logs around under the lean to in preparation for the rain coming that way we can still cut, split and stack. Guys I will tell you from my experience. If you have been on the fence about buying a piece of equipment to do the heavy lifting it doesn't get much better than this little Avant. This machine can pick up almost half its weight! How many pieces of equipment can claim that? We have had this Avant working for us for 4 years now and it has been great. Invest in your company and also your back will thank you. Hope you enjoy the video. I always love when I get to use this machine at the shop when we are not in a rush.

We just pulled the trigger on an 860i. Can you advise what grapple you’re using? We’re considering a couple different options…

Martin I can only speak for the one I own. Its a Branch Manager Log Grapple. It is the non powered rotation version. It was a the cheapest option for a grapple. The only drawback I can think of is the lack of grease fittings on some pins. Overall for being the cheapest grapple I could get at the time, it has held up quite well for being worked hard for the last 6 years. Hope this helps
