It’s been mentioned before but just wanted to take note again of how this drama has consistently made it such that Yu Tu and Jing Jing are equally supportive and help each other out. There is no knight in shining armor helping a damsel in distress. They equally find ways to help each other and when that help happens such as in this case, there was no toxic reactions, just pure appreciation for the kindness of the other and acceptance of the help without ego getting in the way.

yeah the author of this is known to make these kinds of stories... where there's no overbearing CEOs or male leads that are arrogant or a female lead that's always been bullied. it's more realistic and has healthy relationships, there's that power balance. this is also the reason why I'm drawn with this drama

Yang's caracter in every drama is so satisfying....he looks cold outside but is extremely warm inside....he takes his girl seriously and adores her and accepts her help keeping a typical 'men's ego' aside Though it be Xiao Nai (love O2O) Yu Tu (You are my glory) both the caracters were elegant, calm, cool, rational, farsighted, constantly developing, and specially has flaws which he covers with time......he's gentle, supporting as well as straightforward and low profile❤ His character's ups and downs are relatable..... Truly speaking his dramas make me a lot more mature than I really was🔥

This drama was way better than Love020 as I saw yangyang as normal guy here instead of "perfect" guy , he had insecurities, was unsure , had self doubt, just like any normal person. Also this scene where most of time their partner will come as save them , which is usually corny. Glad they kept it real and did what any couple will do in real life. This drama is so realistic I can't even explain. Writers really crafted this drama so well.
I really love yu tu and jingjing relationship, they are really supported each others backs. I love how they understand and emphatize each other. This drama gave me a lot of lessons too. Superb
what I like about this drama is the occupation of the ML is unusual for drama or story plot. this made it more realistic and natural. It looks into the struggles of an aerospace researcher for his dreams or will he choose to be like everyone else. Then the only person who always believed him and always understood him was the person he rejected before. And this actually resonates with other normal workers out there who just instead of following their dreams tend to just go with the flow because of pressure in society. Then I got to learn what aerospace engineering really does and how they struggle and there ambitions lol I even cried when he finally realised his dream
I think it's funny that Yu Tu already knows Xia Qing isn't coming, but he lets Qu Ming make a fool of himself when he calls her and then lies about what she said...

usually i love trouble-maker couple in a drama, or couple that both so broken that the world see them as villain but only them know each other goodness. But this 2, they look so normal but so superior at how they supportive to each other. theyre not cheesy and act like teenagers with their first love, but their relationship is what i always want to see how grownups should tell a love story.
I watch many Chinese and Korean series. This one stands out as a more mature story. I liked it the entire way through. This reminded me of many American films from an era when a mutually supportive couple with an optimistic outlook would take pride in their meaningful work, finding a balance and being supported by their friends and coworkers. No heavy handed preaching, no self centered war between the couple or their employers for emphasizing one career over the other. My parents’ generation was like this.

Luckily both leads didn't give a damn to them. My only problem is their way of showing their insecurities especially the line I mentioned above. It was cliche and illogical, would have preferred something better. The overall show itself was good.

Also, when Jingjing was reading the calorie count when they were about to toast, the calories would have been different if it was a refill, but she didn't want to embarass Yu Tu any more than he is. The cost she mentioned shocked him already for "fake" wine. If she told him the truth, he might collapse.
