Criminals Who Are STILL On the Run in 2024...

- On February 21st, Australian police finally caught the convicted murderer, Graham Potter, who had been on the run for 12 years. A convicted killer, he had been evading conspiracy to murder charges since 2010. Investigators later found that he had attempted to change his appearance and demeanour to avoid detection - but was eventually found in a dilapidated house in Ravenshoe, in the far north of Queensland. Potter, however, is one of many criminals who go on the run and manage to avoid capture for years, and sometimes even decades. In today’s video, we’ll be exploring two terrifying cases of criminals still on the run.

If you allow a 2 year old child to get a hold of a gun you simply aren't fit to be a parent
That was a BS story , Sharon murdered him not the little girl.
🙂
What about the "parents" (I use the term loosely) who let their 5 year old get ahold of a lighter after they let him watch Beavis & Butthead?
In Mormonism, especially at that time, boys were seen as more the fathers than the mothers. Also it would not have been out the realm of possibilities that a judge would give custody of the daughter to the mother, but not the son. A different time. An America where women were all to often treat like second class citizens. When it came to such things as custody and divorce a woman was almost always at a disadvantage. Unless the woman was wealthy and came from a family that was extremely wealthy. Then she might have a better chances, but for the majority of poor or middle class women. A divorce was a one way ticket to extreme poverty. This why many women sensing an impending divorce. Would suddenly start having extra marital affairs. Hoping that the guy would in turn marry them and keep them from that fate.
Sometimes it even worked. Mostly the woman ended up in extreme poverty with little more than what she has on her back and maybe the house that she would have to sell anyways. Even with kids in tow and the paltry child support. It was never enough to keep up with expenses. This being Missouri. Not noted for being liberal even then. Had she divorced her first husband. Would probably not even gotten the alimony or the house. As her suspected and provable affair would have soured the judge against her.
Murdering her first husband is not the extreme action it seems at first glance. her other murders were a case of having gotten away with it once. She defaulted to the method that worked for with the first murder. Only this time there was no convenient 2 year old to blame. If she is still alive. She is most likely living in some poor out of the way village. Looking like any village abuela..
You TEACH your kids things are dangerous, guns, knives, a STOVE, (you can TRY to lock guns up, but, a monkey can pick a lock, and kids are smarter than a monkey). TEACH, TEACH, TEACH.
I wonder why Sharron only wanted to have custody of their daughter not their son?
so that she could ruin her life!
What are the chances that Sharon is still alive? Slim, in my view. A pattern of behavior like hers is not conducive to a long life.
Rumor is she was killed after she escaped prison by Mexican gangsters , but thats just a rumor. I Believe it though I think she would have been caught if she was alive. Someone like that would not be able to stay out of trouble with the law.
@@troynov1965That and Mexico was undergoing violent political upheaval at the time with guerillas and government death squads going at it. If the criminals or they didn't get her then the police likely did, they too where not afraid to dig holes in the desert. Sharon is definitely long gone.
@@manuelacosta9463 Her being a gringo likely did not help.
Good point. The criminal lifestyle, with all its dangers, does not generally lead people to die of old age outside prison walls. Whitey Bulger was one of the notable outliers, making it to 89 before his violent end. Those at liberty and hiding from detection must live very fragmented, fraught lives.
yeah, i never understood why all these people on the run (or at least most of them anyways) just don't find a quiet sleepy little town and go striaght instead of doing the same crap they always did.= sure fire way to end right back in prison.
At some point, Sharon Kinne would have showed up either in Mexico or the US. My guess is that she's deceased and has been so for a long time.
If someone can't even be loyal to their spouse by having an affair with you in the first place why would you think that person will be loyal to you or leave their spouse to be with you i mean if they were that releable they wouldn't be having an affair in the first place so what else do you expect really
Given the amount of space, the Mexican prison waited to report the escape and that she'd be 84 now. It's safe to say that Sharon Kinne met her demise in that prison, and a cover-up followed.
And also the fact that she had no problem committing crimes while on the run from prosecution of other crimes And no one has heard from her since she supposedly escaped a mexican prison If she really did escape she would have just kept commiting crimes I'm thinking you are right and the Mexican jail had to take the time to think up and set up how she supposedly escaped Never seen or heard of again just doesn't fit the personality she had
The Mexicans probably squeezed every bit of money out of her that they potentially could, then took a bit more for letting her "escape", and the escape ended in a shallow grave somewhere in the desert.
I’m thinking that Sharon got away with murder.
Sharon Kinne proves that there is definitely privilege for women what it comes to the justice system. They often get crazy plea deals, immunity, and straight up acquittal for evil crimes.
A NJ woman, her sister, and an unknown third person, in the 90's, were caught, check fraud, and stealing from a elderly woman, including her social security check, not to mention caught on bank security cameras. They had to pay it back (Dover/Rockaway NJ). whom gets that deal? Young attractive women. Unfortunately, they were dealing coke, and several of the people, using, DIED, and left children fatherless. Now, the sisters co-own a house they rent, and clean (I guess), and one works with NJ law enforcement (adding insult to injury, hu?). They left a wave of police reports(Ironia, and Butler), even calling the police to protect the coke against a man whom told them to not cut it with his child present. Using police and violence in their racketeering.
Someone's going to find out that Grandma was a convicted murderer on their death bed 🙈
You mean Great Grandma, don't you?
She prob already passed away
I don't believe for a moment that Sharon excaped from the prison herself someone helped her to escape its really not easy to escape from a prison unless you are helped by someone from the inside
It was also in Mexico back then jail/prison were nothing like the US were back then she got of just got very lucky, less guards and a power outage right there luck was on her side.
Sounds like you have experience of that Sean. Is that his you got out? Go on, 'fess up 😂
*eScaped.
These are only the ones that we know about there's an awful lot more that haven't been uncovered yet i mean just look at the amount of cold cases and the people involved that have never been captured
A loaded firearm can not be cleaned.
True, but a cleaned weapon can be reloaded. That was, after all, just her explanation as to why the weapon was on the bed. She wasn't claiming that it went off while he was actively cleaning it.
The description by her was just that he was cleaning it. But that only means that he had it out to clean it. He could have fallen asleep before unloading it or cleaned it and then reassembled and reloaded it and fell asleep with it on the bed.
@darkamora5123 OK, but how many times have you heard the claim that a firearm went off accidentally while it was being cleaned? In almost all cases, it's a lie. People just repeat this explanation because it represents that nothing nefarious was being done with the firearm; it was just being cleaned and "went off."
Exactly if you aren’t familiar with firearms you’d think cleaning means wiping it down or something
They had a good episode on a Crime to Remember about Sharon Kinne called Luck Be a Lady. It was one of my favorites of the series.
My favorite as well
Same! That show was so well done.
wow...she got away with everything
Mmm, maybe not. Vengence is strong in Mexico.
A person with Sharons spending habits and string of bodies behind her wouldnt just disappear and live the rest of her life under the radar. She wouldnt be able to stop herself, not from the spending quite quickly, and clearly she went for a gun, whenever she didnt get, what she wanted. No way, she could go under the radar for even a few years, let alone decades.
I'd say, the best bet is the family helping her escape, so they could kill her. She definitely died within a fairly short time of the prison escape, or traces of her would have surfaced.
My guess is that some prison guards took her for everything she had and then helped her escape into a shallow grave. Dead women don't tell no tales.
Well, she’s probably passed away by now 🤔🤷♂️
And in hell. Goodness me
She has passed into hell.
yes the old narrator is back!!!
I'd never make a good outlaw lol I can't believe she broke out and there's no clue to her whereabouts since!
"Do you need the phone number?"
_"Just the fax, ma'am."_
goodness sharon was a piece of work!! serial killer!!
I already felt sorry for James, when she lied about being pregnant and pressured him into marriage. Even more when she went on a continuous spending tour and a string of affairs. I was actually beginning to believe, that she was the victim, that James had just snapped 1 day, but no, he just couldnt get a break. Piece of work, indeed!
That Sharon Kinne one sounds like a mad yoke!
You're definitely Irish with that mad yoke comment!
Damn, Sharon is a menace

When you say Leningrad you mean St Petersburg right because thats what its been called since the fall of the USSR in 1991
But the story is pre 1991 , so it would be Leningrad
stalingrad
@@dot2562 Stalingrad has reverted to its original name - Volgograd. Leningrad was and now again is St. Petersburg. And Leningrad is correct in the video, coz that was the name during that period.
Sharon "The Preying Mantis" Kinne.
Sharon was taken care of, after allowed to escape.
Probably the family paid one of the guards.
Latino Justice.
There's no way, that Kinne would be able to blend in as a white woman, alone, in Mexico.
Not in the late 1960s.
===
The story of her first husband, was a clever ruse. (Cops fumbled badly on the residue test.)
Second one was personal and overkill.....but.....no weapon found and no witnesses.
Third one, in Mexico, was the stupid and obvious one.
Proper gun-happy too, shooting the employee, after homiciding the Mexican guy.
Kinne loved to shoot..... Bonnie and Clyde type.
I reckon she got some Mexican justice, on the same day she escaped.
The police asked some boy scouts to help them search for a possibly loaded gun? Sounds sensible. 🙄
Anyone to do their dirty work i guess
What could possibly go wrong 😂
Yes. At this time, f!re@rms safety was taught in school. Knowing that f!re@rms are just tools and can't, as inanimate objects, be malevolent or dangerous, if we discovered one, we'd clear the area and let cops do the rest. Now we teach our kids how to use them ourselves. I taught my daughters how to use them so they'd never be victims without at least a chance to defend themselves.
I'm 54. Danger is everywhere. The facade of safety is just that. My father was chief of the local volunteer fire department, and I was running into burning structures with bunker gear and breathing apparatus by 14. At 16, I started driving the fire trucks. I never worked a crime scene, with the exception of discovery and there would be an investigation when the scene was under control. There were other teenagers as well. We took took responsibility, and I took making my father proud seriously. But it was satisfying to serve the community. I'm not being personally specific about anyone, but some people cannot comprehend why anyone would put themselves in danger for a perfect stranger, for free. If you can't, I'm sorry.

She bought her way out and lived out her life very quietly in southern Missouri where she raised two more children and outlived their father as well.
If her children or grandchildren would do their DNA through one of those ancestry sites they might connect with the rest of their family.
It seems as if time in a Mexican prison could scare someone straight.

Floriduh, check floriduh. All criminal move to floriduh.
cold blooded. wow!
Huh, Valeryi turned 67.
If local cops willfully ignore solid leads then it's not much use trying to involve Interpol- they will contact the local cops and get NOWHERE
I recognise Valery, he is an assistant to the London mayor….
Ngl, the first one sounds like the police never wanted to catch him!
Second. Worse serial killer than Aileen Wournos?? 😱
Nah Sharon only had 3 victims. Eileen had 7.
Both were cold blooded, but I still find Aileen to be the worse as she was randomly picking her victims. At least Sharon's killings were predictable from her greedy personality.
I always felt sorry for Aileen. She was abused and had a rough life.
This woman lived by violence. I suspect she got into another conflict and unlike the past she did not win the battle. Many homicides are not even discovered and or remain unsolved.
So Sharon trapped a man just to get tired of him

Not for having violently victimized somebody, but I was on Probation in Austin, Texas until it became incompatible with my career. Star Tech PC's bank failed to acknowledge a Stop-Payment order and transferred $550 into my account after a different agreement had been reached.
Star Tech staff went snitchin to Austin Police Department instead of contacting me about the bank error and I ended up arrested and put on Differed Adjudication.
Probation tried to send me to Community Service when that wasn't part of the deal reached in Court, plus the band I played bass for was about to go on the road.
The system squeezed too hard and all I ended up paying back was $250 in 5 months of $50 payments. That was 18 years ago. Had Probation not bothered me about Community Service, the remaining $300 would long have been paid off.

Oh so that is why Graham Potter is not in management now. He was on the run and now captured.
There must be a movie about Sharon Kinne.
Sharon Kinne are long gone and most probably dead.
I'm not positive because I was never a Boy Scout, but in that time period, most young men would have had some knowledge and instruction in firearms safety and handling and there might have been Eagle Scout badges awarded for that?
I certainly watched at least one gun safety video in school, shown to everyone. Topics such as, if you are hunting, how do you cross a barbed-wire fence when carrying a rifle? If you are with someone? If you are alone? You don't try to hold it while you cross. If you lean it against the fence, it might fall over and go off. And you're probably right about the Eagle Scout badges.
Omg I lived on the road of lovers lane and know where this was taken place
I was feeling a little lonely. Thinking about getting myself a woman, but nah. Nope. I'm good.
I dont think that this source of evil is stil among us.

Why aren't rifling marks recorded on every gun sold? It would then be easier to connect a particular purchase with a crime.
I heard rifling marks can be changed by twisting a metal rod down the barrel.I’ve never even seen a real gun (except on film,or photo),so it’s just hearsay.

a gunfighter !? she shoot's unarmed people how is that a gunfight and how is she a gunfighter I know it's sarcasm but still 🤣
Technically a pistolero is a gunman. Pistolera is an English language newspaper adding an -a to a masculine noun to make it feminine, but getting it wrong (maybe) because the word already has a meaning.
So what is a pistolera, if not a gun woman? It's a holster. It is also used colloquially to mean a tight spot (like the British sticky wicket or American pickle, both weird associations for that meaning), or more recently flabby thighs (don't ask me).
Why did I say they, maybe, got it right? Because, especially back then, women were not valued much beyond producing children. So calling a woman who was carrying a gun a holster also has the implication of being a place for men to put their "guns".
Given that she was convicted of going back to his hotel room with the pretense of sex and instead attempting robbery and committing murder, it really could have been a subtle way of calling her a whore.
@@darkamora5123 so basically everyone with a gun is a pistolero or a pistolera yeah right... give me a break 🤣
@@vesaroivainen no. First, the word is pistolero regardless of whether the person is male or female. Second there is the association that they are shooting, just like in English.
Like how people talk about the JFK assassination and say there was a second gunman. There were dozens of police and secret service agents with guns that day but only a lone gunman (or maybe a pair of them).
The most literal translation is actually pistoleer not anything with gun in it, but that is a term that hasn't been used in English regularly for over a century. Though it carries all the connotations that gunman does, or gunslinger, shooter et cetera. That one is actively shooting (or was actively shooting in the past when you earned the description).
Once again pistolera (with an -A) doesn't mean any of that in Spanish. It is just the holster for a gun. So either an understandable mistranslation by an English speaker or a subtle insult by a bilingual writer who wanted to imply she was a trashy woman.
Mom?!??
This woman, Sharon, is a killer
Dana = DAY-na
Ravens ho not raven shoe
That woman has never been found 1. she would of got help, 2 she's probably left her country, 3. She has a new passport, had to live somewhere and money no government money obviously living with someone !! To keep a low profile for years and not caught !! Of course, she had help staying out if prison !
I can't believe Mexican authorities were like, nope, we don't believe you! While American authorities had a pattern on this woman
Can't speak for the current situation, but there was a LOT of violent social unrest going on in Mexico back then. It is probably less that they were more insightful than just a stfu I have a dozen trials to get done today. Like f-ing traffic court, "Police said it, must be true" attitude.
Mind, I don't think that they were wrong just saying that was a big thing in the Mexican justice system at the time. And they probably thought her trying to kill a witness was a good reason to disbelieve her.
After all, "Hello, hotel staff. What is going on, is everyone okay? I heard a gunshot. I'm coming in." Shouldn't earn a bullet unless you are eliminating a witness. I mean she waited until he was inside the room and saw her, whereas if she had been attacked and was jumpy she'd likely have shot when startled by the knocking.
Boy Sharon is / was a lil bad ass for that time past especially for females in the 60s . Plus she did everything sola . I wouldn’t turn her in.
Hey I'm sorry but Sharon was a fuckin badass
Kinne was a nice Mormon lady. She could easily have found her way into a Mormon community and blend in, keep a low profile, to this day.
