Heritage House in Bangkok's Talat Plu Area (Thai Language)

Something a little different. A heritage property for sale in Bangkok. This is the Agent's video. I hope to create an in-depth one in Engish soon. The house was built in about 1935 by Dr. Kim who sold medicines in the area. He had 5 children. The eldest was "Rod" who was an enterprising Military Doctor and set up the first Penicillin Production facility in Thailand despite lack of support by international pharmaceutical companies. His factory was tragically destroyed by fire. The house is almost entirely original and is occupied by the direct descendants of Dr. Kim. The house features some unique architectural aspects. You can see how it was designed to ensure that the wind will pass through every room in a time well before any airconditioning existed. It has original stained glass windows typical of that era. Another hidden surprise is a "secret" room, actually 2 underground rooms. In a country where basements and cellars are basically non-existent this is a truly rare feature. The house has recently come on the market and we are working tirelessly to find a buyer who is interested in restoring and preserving this home which is a living museum of yesteryear.
