One of the worst aspects of balls kit tbh, it just doesn't make sense.

@@CorynFields I think at some point they did make the shield not give ult charge. I'm not sure if that is still in place or if they reverted it.

Had no clue either that ball shields (and maybe any hero personal shields over health bar) caused the Sym regen passive, that's kinda wild.

It wasn't balls e giving green overhealth, it was the blue shield health that regens sym. Same for the blue shield health on zen, sym, zar, sig, lw, etc
all blue health + regular shields gives sym shield
I love how you can be 1v3ing with ball and then your 4 team mates consistently lose a 4v2. Happens so often.
Same as a Sombra main, I can spawn kill both the enemy supports and my team still loses 4v3 😂 I get blah blah sombra main eww but it’s still annoying lol
That’s the thing with playing a tank like ball, u can 1v3 in the back but that leaves ur team open to be 1v3 by their tank. So let say their tank+dps is better than urs, you still lose. In theory, 1v3ing in the back should open up a shit ton of space for your team and limit their tank because lack of heals from their dead sup, but if their tank is a charged Zarya like in this game with a pocket/good dps they might be fast enough to just kill 3 on your team themselves

@@seanmat8I disagree. It's not his fault but it's more representative of the state of ball in this 5v5 format. All the backline harassing and disruption means he's away from his team more often than not, meaning the Zarys is free to be literal destruction against his team. While he was harassing he left his team no frontline. So he was.playing a great ball game but it wasn't valuable Inthe team fight.

What is that tech at 7:55? He fireball wall jumps, which seems like it'd be impossible to land as consistently as he does. At least if it's done the same way you do a normal wall jump
Im prettt sure its similar to a normal wall jump but the main difference being u come in from the side or an slight angle (u can see that in the clip). Dont need to press down the s key aswell. Still harder than normal walljump but u can hut it consistency if ur good

Can't relate, I love all of them. Probably helps that I play ball so I actually understand what ball is doing on either team, makes it easier to enjoy the game when you know what the hero is supposed to be doing and how to play with it.

Not to mention that before, you had a main tank and rarely ever saw ball because he could just sit in the back line forever, as he didnt really need to take space or contest with a main tank available. Ball has now been forced to act as both main tank and off tank.

Symm gets health back from shields (ball, symm, zen etc) and from barriers (rein, sigma, ramm, brig) so even if she were shooting a Zenyatta or another Symmetra she will heal which honestly is pretty weird I feel like it should just be from barriers.

watching overwatch games just shows me how much of a heal dependent game overwatch is and helps me understand why i stopped playing it. like go to any part where someone has a support next to them or even the Zarya and you'll see 9 times out of 10 then never fucking die unless they gets knocked off map which with Lifeweaver can be prevented as well

Probably not possible since this removes the ability to use all of his abilities except for adaptive shields, you essentially just become a worse orisa that is susceptible to all stuns. You would just fall over constantly and it wouldn't be very fun. 90% of balls value comes from distraction and displacement, which you can't do either if you are dead and don't have abilities.

I think the zarya just out tanked you in this one. Yes you were destroying their team. But the zarya was doing the same. Your team was just not coordinated nor skilled enough to take car of that zayra. Their team did veyy well in the second half. They adapted to your play style and stalled out alot of your time out. You kept playing the same style not switching up your tatics. When ashe was dodging you at the pillar with no problem and just wasted 5secs in a team fight chasing. You can carry your team so far up. But teamworks always win. Good game though.
