- Mrs. Coach is the one who got very distracted in this video. This is our second time reacting to Twice, so we've now done TWICE twice. This is their song "I Can't Stop Me" and it was one we both enjoyed.

As I have introduced you guys to TWICE’s background for the RV yall did to “Cry For ME” I won’t flood too much info here lol. I do wanna say though that this is the song that actually got me into TWICE and from there I have vibed with a lot of their music. TWICE is a valid girl group and as time goes on yall will grow to like them more and more.
I remember this song coming out back in 2020 and this song was even named as one of the BEST KPOP SONGS OF 2020 by several critically aclaimed sources. This song was on repeat and the choreography was loved by many stans all over. TWICE are also QUEENS when it comes to SYNC choreo btw, like they are super more than beasts at it. Anyways, "I Can't Stop Me" was released as their lead single/title track to their (album) Eyes Wide Open that dropped on October 26, 2020.
This song is reported to articulate how there is an internal and external conflict when It comes to the pros and cons of what one’s heart desires. The feel good but knowing it can be wrong is what ultimately pushes people to the edge even for the smallest time of extreme desire or pleasure being met with consequence following right after. However, we as people know there is a boundary between doing morally good things and never crossing that line to iMMORAL things or things deemed as taboo to some or most or whatnot. “I Can’t Stop Me” portrays how we know when something is not right but attraction (in all forms) can be our own worst enemy and may lead to our wrongdoings. But then you have to ask, as an individual, are the things you think wrong the same as everyone else’s beliefs of what’s wrong or is that our own projectional confirmation bias playing a role in our “missed opportunities.” As a Clinical Psych major, concepts like these really interest me so excuse my deep philosophical moments lol. Additionally, the member Dahyun quoted that this track even displays TWICES "musical growth.” It is true because this era of TWICE was so different compared to their past music and so that is why it was so refreshing to see them the way they were in this concept.

I like TWICE's "Feel Special."
This song is basically a story of TWICE members.
Park Jin-young, the head of JYP, singer, and songwriter, wrote the song after seeing the members comfort each other at a time when they were having a hard time.
It's a song that's very meaningful to the members, and it's a song that gives a lot of comfort to people.
The lyrics are so so comforting. This song makes me feel grateful to the people around me.
I recommend the next TWICE reaction.

Thanks for the reaction to this! TWICE has become my ult-group and while it's hard to pick a favorite song, "I Can't Stop Me" is my go to song from them. I can't wait to see them in concert again in March at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas, especially since they will have a new mini-album out in late Feb!
TWICE concerts are the best. they hold full world tours, and they hit up at least 15 U.S cities and they're all sold out in big 20,000+ seating venues. I went to their NY concert in 2022 and it was amazing. These girls give it their all, and their encore performance lasted over an HOUR. For an encore!. They are one of the top kpop groups globally. If you go down the TWICE rabbit hole, good luck. You're never coming out, all their title tracks are AMAZING and catchy
The name TWICE means: "That they will be able to move people twice. Once through the ears and once through the eyes."
Meaning that you will be loving them for their music and their visuals.

"I can't stop me" is the lead single for their 2nd Full length Album (EYES WIDE OPEN) way back 2020. The album is all about Us opening our eyes widely to reality. The album is the most versatile album by TWICE on that year. The album had alot of different genres and style they used for the tracks including Retro Synth wave, Pop, Trap, City Pop, Afro beat, 2000's Rave music, EDM, Dubstep, Disco funk, R&B, etc.
It also had a Japanese Version included on their "#TWICE4 Mini Album" for their Japanese Discography,
An English version Single, only for Digital Stream
And A Collaboration with BOYS LIKE GIRLS (American Rock band). This track is included to their recent released Digital Album "THE REMIXES Mini album" which including English versions like "Alcohol-free and Cry for me" and remixes of their few title tracks like "More & more, Set me free, The Feels, and Moonlight Sunrise".

TWICE has 5 Korean members (JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG, NAYEON, DAHYUN and JEONGYEON), 3 Japanese members (MINA, SANA and MOMO) and 1 Taiwanese member (TZUYU).
Twice is always good for a catchy song and a music video that's a pure spectacle. This one isn't my favorite MV but the song is great!

I think for just a reference in how much this group has grown in their 8 years together, looking at the debut "Like Ooh-Ahh" and their latest "Set Me Free" would be good to check out and compare. Of course, there will be the new pre-release "I Got You" Feb. 2.
Twice is such a comfort group for me. I could put on a Twice only playlist for a road trip and let it go for several hours knowing that I’d hear a solid variety of consistently good songs. They tried different genres but stay pretty close to their core production quality.
Early on I had a month of discovering new songs randomly and “Who’s this? Twice again?” over and over again until I just did a full deep discography dive and then they were my first KConcert because I was new and worried about OT9 renewing that year.
If you watch Heartshaker there’s Twice twice in that one too.
The rap parts were often melodic and fit into the songs very well. I think they played around with rap sounds more recently like Hello were Chaeyoung and Momo get a little more pronounced with it.
In the two we have heard, we can see them being a comfort group for people.
My favorite Twice song, befare that One I hadn’t given the credit they deserve but after this one had been released I decided to dive into their works and even watched the survival show which is responsible for creating them … I love them so much and they are incredible. Nayeon is my bias

*TWICE* is one of the hardest working groups in K-pop, they certainly are the busiest by giving us an album (whether mini or full) every year of their existence, sometimes "twice" a year (pun intended 😂). *2 FYIs:*
*1st* - TWICE releases alot of Japanese MVs/ songs that are only in Japanese. That music is not translated from Korean. You can find those on their 2nd CZcams channel called *TWICE Japan Official*
*2nd* - TWICE will have a comeback album the end of Febuary... BUT ... they will kick of the month with a pre-release MV on *Feburary 2nd* called *"I GOT YOU"* at 2pm KST which is 12am EST

JYP was called 'the master of girl groups'.
It's the least unexpected, but it's the most authentic girl group.
Authentic? They are SNSD 2.0. Plus JYP over produces their voices so no one stands out. This style gives kpop a bad name to the rest of the world. Red Velvet after they dropped this style and went closer to Blackpink and now Idle are geared more for global appeal. Music must evolve and not live in the past.

twice and blackpink are close friends. There used to be some interactions between them on Korean music shows. and actually I hope there will be more interaction between them. maybe they are also both busy.
Twice will be releasing a pre-release single on FEB 2, 2024 with the title "I GOT YOU" for their 13th Mini Album that will be releasing on Feb 23, 2024. It contains 6 songs including "I GOT YOU".
They will also releasing their 5th Full-Length Japanese Album around April or May this year.
And They are currently still at their 5th World Tour.

Anything you find on the Internet done by Twice as a group or any of the solo projects done by the members will be great to hear and react to. Honest, nothing bad to be found in their entire discography. You just cannot go wrong with them.
They have each done at least one cover of some song or other (some members have done more than just one cover), all nine members have writing credits on at least one song (some members have more writing credits than others and at least one has Composing credits to her name) and so far a couple of members have Solo projects out. So far, there is only one sub-unit that has all three of the Japanese members, called MiSaMo (Mina, Sana, Momo).
Talent! Talent EVERYWHERE! :)

But that is just surface stuff. Their abilities count way more than what they look like. They would not have become the favorite if they were no good at dance, vocals, rap, creativity, etc.

Just keep in mind that the further back you go, the more ‘cutesy’ their songs get. As they got older, their concept became much more mature rather than cute. Still though, their older songs are incredibly good, they’re just a little bit different. TT is a good example of an older song, but it’s also got one of the most addictive choruses!
It’d be great for you to check out one of the line distribution videos as well as the music video for one of their songs.
It can be quite overwhelming to understand who each member is and what they specialise in just by watching the music videos, since there’s so much going on, and after all, there is nine of them😆
Some key things to remember about TWICE that should help:
- all members sing (incredibly well).
- Dahyun and Chaeyoung are the main rappers of the group. Momo chips in here and there.
- Jihyo has the really powerful and belting vocals. You’ll often hear her doing the high notes in the background.
- Nayeon is the face of the group. She also has a powerful voice as well.
- Jeongyeon also has a belting voice but we don’t tend to hear it as much as I’d personally like!
- Momo is the dancing machine.
- Mina and Tzuyu (pronounced chewy) specialise in softer and more touching vocals. They’re also both exceptional dancers.
- Sana is the cute one but she’s good at everything😆
I mean you could say this member specialises in this or that, but really they’re all 10/10 at everything they do. They don’t really have any weaknesses in my opinion. They all combine together very well

TWICE is one of the groups people have told you guys on the comment section that they are one of the greatest kpop groups. They are the kpop girlgroup with most album sales in history and they are VERY popular, not more popular than blackpink or NewJeans right now but in the top 3 that's for sure. In the girlgroup category.
They do a lot of different genres, this one was unique even for the fandom (called ONCE), so don't expect them doing the same style next time you react to them. At their first years they did cute and bubblegum pop concept and that was their peak era where they were the most popular girlgroup, then they went to the queen self lifting (love yourself) mature concept era, now they are in the mature grown women concept era (with sensual and deep lyrics in all their songs lol).. because of course, they grew up and they all are adult now. But they don't have a specific sound as a group. Is not like blackpink that always have the upbeat hiphop concept and sound, or NewJeans chill y2k concept and sound. TWICE changed overtime.

Thanks for the reaction. Glad to see new folks listening to Twice. As you go thru their discography, you'll see all of there title tracks are catchy and feel good. However they cover so many genres and their B-sides are a treasure trove of great music. They've also started releasing more full English songs as they've become more confident in their English. Give these English songs a listen: I Want You Back (Jackson 5 cover), original besides: Icon, Queen of Hearts, Moonlight Sunrise, The Feels, Moonlight. They also have individual Melody Projects that they cover songs from Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Sia, Justin Beiber etc.

There is another Mv in which there is Twice Twice (double Twice😁) called " Heart Shaker" . That is an earlier song by Twice released in 2017. You can't see some maturity like "I Can't Stop Me" in "Heart Shaker". As their earlier concepts went to be cute, bubbly and colourful style, you will find some differences between these two mvs.

this was an era when a lot of kpop was leaning into 80's vibes. this song, along with Everflow's La Di Da and Sunmi's Pporappippam (Purple Night) fit well together in a playlist.

Twice, is so unique that they are not afraid to explore more musical genres, at first the concept of "twice" was pop, cute, catchy more oriented towards teenagers who discover love, maybe they don't like it too much at first, but as you listen More of their music, their style is maturing. "I can't stop me" is my favorite song on this album, I would recommend listening to "moonlight sunrise" a full english song, "perfect world" a song from their Japanese albums or if you dare to listen to something from their beginnings, my favorite is "yes or yes" and "Likey"

I really hope you and Mrs. CoachCast can go to a KPOP concert one day. It's really incredible. These kpop groups, especially girl groups alwats hold concerts in the U.S and the diversity amongst the audience is a sight to see and the venues are always packed. Watching them sing live while performing these outrageous choreos is really something. Twice always holds concerts in the U.S every year. Le Sserafim will perform at Coachella, and they will probably hold their own U.S Tour this year. Hope you can attend any one of these

You guys should definitely check it out, the music video stars V from BTS as well.

JYP himself the owner of twice, itzy etcc went to America to find talents and hence V.Cha was created after several survival competitions.
