This version of Duran Duran’s cover of the Led Zeppelin song “Thank You” appeared on the soundtrack to the 1994 movie “With Honors”. It is a more stripped-down version of the cover which would eventually end up much more produced on the Duran Duran album of the same name, “Thank You” - which was released in 1995.
Having a part time job at a record store in the mid 90’s helped me find gems like this. Enjoy!

WOW!!! I just listened to Duran Duran’s cover of Led Zeppelin “Thank You” & I must say that Simon LeBon’s voice was so perfect .. that I got chills and tears were filling up my eyes! It was beautifully done! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

First off let me say, Duran Duran is my ALL TIME favourite band. I LOVE this cover, it is truly amazing. However, Heart did “Stairway to Heaven” at Lincoln Center honors and in my humble opinion that is THE ABSOLUTE BEST cover of a Led Zeppelin song I have ever heard. It actually hurt my heart to write this. 😂🤣

I love love this song and this version. Makes me reflect. Don't know why lol. And heard it for the first time in the movie "With Honors." 90s were incredible.
This album always gets bad reviews, but it is one of my fave albums of DD's Would love to see them perform this live :D

What an incredible cover" sounds tremendously like Zeppelin" I was actually watching With honors" and thought it was a more acoustic version of Zeppelin.
With Honors! That was such a great soundtrack and movie. The role that Joe Pesci played, as an intellegent and wise homeless man, really touched my heart. Brendan Fraser was awesome as well!
The only thing I would change about that movie is having Robin Williams play the bum.
Love the original above all else, but got to say Duran Duran have done a pretty good job covering it! 😊
