I remember buying this album when it came out. I couldn't wait to get home and listen to it. I had been a massive fan of Jarre since the very beginning. I finally get home and sit down to listen to it... Nice start... but wait... it just went on and on and on. Is this really it? No epic music? No quirky tracks? Just watery background noise with random piano plink plonking?! I don't think I've ever been so pissed at an artist before or since. In my eyes it was music I could have made given the right tools and had done a serious sin, taken my money, sold out... and not lived up to my expectations. Funny thing is, today I quite like it. It's a nice relaxing soundscape to fall asleep to or have in the background... But then again, I don't have to pay for CZcams :P
Remembering this great man. Great oceanistic man.
Dont really care...and I am a classic pianoplayer. I just want the music go on forever, cause I use this for sleeping. It's so relaxing anf I'm floating away in a sea of dreams. Please make an endless loop with this great music.
A lonely diver at the bottom of the ocean is dying. Maybe his air supply is running out. Maybe he is suffering severe blood loss. He is unable to reach his submarine. During the last conscious minute before he passes out, he start to hallucinate. He is in desparate need for help. Then suddenly as if in a dream, a small ship named Calypso throws out its anchor, Divers jump in the water. A mini sub with two small front windows approaches him. One of its pilots wears a red cap. Can they save him? He is waiting for Cousteau.... Is it real or is he hallucinating? Does it matter?

Not arrogant. But it does come across as stupid when you don't specify what you're talking about@@peterfarkas9857
@@peterfarkas9857 In what way did he (or she) miss the point?

The 2015 remastered version is the richest and most intense sounding. My choice.
