I looked at formulas on the formula sheet to see how they got from the units in the question to the units in the solution. That helped me find the correct formula I needed to solve many problems. Thanks for watching, Juan!! I think it depends on what you buy. I bought a manual by the same company that made the practice problems I talked about and it had the wrong subjects. It was generalized for any engineering (i.e. It had a lot of chemistry and natural sciences that I didn't need to know). Also, I think the practice problems were especially good because they forced me to learn the formula sheet. Once you know where to find formulas, the test was a lot of plug-and-chug

It’s been a 10 years for me and was putting on hold all this time, you just have to suck it up and grind through each chapter, don’t skip, just tackle one at a time consistently, used the schedule provided in the FE book , good luck

FE CIVIL EXAM ADVICE: should I take it Nov 22nd? THANK YOU
Hello everyone! I’m conflicted in taking the FE Exam for the first time November 22nd of this year. I just graduated BS in Civil Engineering in May and have rescheduled this exam twice now. I have less than a month to study and I do not feel prepared to take it as of right now.
My study plan is trying to watch all 12 videos of Gregory Michaelson FE Review and I have a practice book of a ton of practice problems so look at those.
My advice I need is do I take it knowing that I won’t be as prepared if I reschedule it, or reschedule it for a third time with the intention of studying for real.
Let me know guys! Thank you so much

Cassi if I was you, I would just take it and see how it goes! even if you don't pass for the first try, you will have an experience and that will help you to study better for the second time.

So i am currently studying for my FE civil. Its been three years since college. I got the study book and practice exam. I have worked as a QC engineer and as a superintendent on different job sites. Will any of those hours be good enough to submit after the FE exam? Or those it have to be strictly under a PE?

      Try these two:
      amzn.to/2Aia2FC
      And
      amzn.to/2LBmwwC
One is a review manual and the other is a practice book. It's from the same company I used for ME. I would recommend them. Good luck with your exam!

My book didn't have a formula sheet because there is a free one when you create an account with ncees. If you set up your ncees account correctly, you should have the correct formula sheet
