What’s the harm in weekly checking. Standing idle for a week will also reduce tyre pressure. I do check whenever i fill fuel. It’s very clear when pressure is low. Of course tpms always helps, but before it finds, the pick up will inform us

I fill nitrogen in my tyres and check pressure every two weeks.
Yes even I recommend 1 or 2 weeks. 1.5 to 2 months is so long. If less air due to pucture and left unnoticed then sidewall will have cracks so it's better to check once in a week or 2.
