Great video Dylan. I used to love doing this when I was a young lad. We used to shoot them at the low tide line as well. Great work with the videos. 😊👍🏻🎣
@@ReelTherapyFishing - You’re doing a fantastic job. If you’re enjoying your fishing and enjoying making your videos then you’re doing it right. Good luck and tight lines mate. 🎣🐟
Cracking video! We love longline fishing from the shore, wade out on a super low tide as it turns, drop the first anchor (no marker bouy) wade back up the beach baiting up as you go so the water covers your hooks as the tide comes in keeping the hooks and bait safe and then anchor the top end. Fishing low tide to low tide is best, but an extra line can be added to the top anchor and ran up the beach, to allow the whole setup to be retrieved early if needs be. We fish with rods either side of our long lines to use the added attraction of all that bait in the water and prevent other fishermen from casting accidentally into our lines etc. Fast incoming tide sandy beaches are best with minimal other beach users, safety first always! I love the fact its like sampling the beach as it catches a real variety of species and keeps them alive so unwanted or undersized fish can be returned alive and kicking. Great stuff, awesome to see. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Fair play mate I love this video I am hoping you doing alot more of this use them lines and make them myself do alot of longline fishing 40 to 80 hooks time most of my fishing flat fish and some times bass cod rays can't stand them dog fish do my head in.
Good guys but you can get clips that clip straight on to the line and then get old hose reel wheel to collect line a bit easier tight lines guys ps put some bits of lead into long line keep it down .
@@benandallsmodels Try them mate they will either work or they won’t, they will only drag if not and if you see them start to drag via the buoys then order bigger ones depends on the tide run and how many fish you catch lol 😂
Hi guys I'm new to the area and am looking at starting up sea fishing around essex and suffolk, any recommendations on good locations to fish, have beach and boat gear
Shingle street just up from Felixstowe is a great venue for beach fishing plenty of fish to have there. Hapenny pier is fishing ok with the odd bass showing now aswell. Good luck 👍

Hey great vid. What size (weight) anchors do you use?
I think they were 5kg anchors if I can remember you don’t want much more than that because it will be hard to pull up once finished 👍
@@ReelTherapyFishing thanks for your reply, i have 2x 1.5kg i was going to try but ill order some bigger ones

Is there no market for the dogfish as rock salmon in local chippy shops? If you wanted to sell them of course
It’s illegal to sell your catch without the proper permits/licences you can gift it to friends but your not allowed to sell it 👍
