I have lived in Paris, Italy, and Greece and speak 3 languages reasonably well. Yet, I still feel there is much more to learn! Alessandro Borghi is a phenomenal actor. I first saw him in Dalida, and am now exploring his work. Unfortunately, where I am from, almost no one has an appreciation for international cinema. Sad.
Just discovered this on Netflix and finished Season 1 so far. Great series, Alessandro Borghi, Giacomo Ferrera and Eduardo Valdarnini all play their parts so well. Great acting. Looking forward to season 2. 👏
sono Americano Italiano. We just got Suburra on netflix in the states. I just finished binge watching it. It was great, better than gomorrah. You and the whole cast were superb, all of the acting was excellente. Bravo
In this series, the three of them are just fantastic actors. This said, the whole cast is top top notch. It was a delight to follow the series. It was at times a bit pushed to situations that were not believable but ... it is also entertainment so it was was ok.
Loved this series as am currently studying Italian...all the way through I kept thinking---I must see what Spadino looks like without that horrible mullet! and finally, what a relief!

I loved Suburra but i think Gomorrah was better, in terms of how the culture and the streets were represented.
