Ahhhhhh, I remember living in southern CA, no insects, minimal wind, steady temps. Now I’m in KS, insects (all kinds), 30 mph wind, staggering temps. I can’t have any decor outside because I’ll never see it again! I love watching how it could be….😢

This is my favourite video so far. I absolutely love my outdoor space. I’m off to find a birdbath for an empty space I have. As for the wind chime my neighbor had one until it went missing, it was driving my husband nuts. It was hung next to his hammock if you know what I mean 😂

I am a native of San Diego and though I have been in Virginia for decades I love hearing the references to my hometown. Your backyard space looks amazing especially in terms of all the space you have and the many different ways in which you utilize it. I am a Master Gardener for my county and so pay particular attention to your plantings. I appreciate you talking about milkweed and Monarch butterflies. It is the only plant that the Monarch caterpillars eat and, as many of your followers may know, Monarch numbers have dramatically dropped in recent years. Planting milkweed helps support them so I hope others who may read this will do as you have done and install some in their landscape no matter its size. One last plug to all - plant more native plants! They support the ecosystem including its critters and pollinators.
Love the table torches. I saw you put them out there in one of your previous videos but didn't film them at night so I loved seeing how they looked at night!
Growing up we had humming bird feeders at our cabin. It was one of my most favorite past times watching them. We added red dye to the sugar water because they are attracted to red. I guess that’s why the feeders are always red.

I would really enjoy that space! Do the spheres ever go a rolling? Haha! When my son was little he brought in a chrysalis and put it in his dresser and forgot about it. It hatched and we had a beautiful yellow butterfly flying in the house. It was pretty neat.
Vegas is insanely hot these days..115-117 and my little hummingbird friend has to stay hydrated so I add extra cup of water to my homemade nectar and I have to change it every 3-4 days❤.I am committed to do things the right way so they stick around..BTW Aug-Dec is my fav time of the year so I am patiently waiting 🎃👻💀👿🎄🙂🇺🇸
