How to get rid of the static electricity that charges on the laminating film liner roll? Its killing me 😢

I can't even guess how many times the tension rollers were pulled out of position, dropping the media on the floor or on my toes. Why does it not have a locking bracket to keep it in place like every other large format laminator?

hey use 5 inches cut off of a 3" core will solve the problem and slip on core then back over the mount
