Good news, everyone! Irrational Games is still a thing. They were acquired by Take-Two Interactive, who own Rockstar, and rebrand themselves as Ghost Story shortly after Bioshock Infinite was released. They had a major shift in the company going from 90 to 15 employees and tried to focus more on narrative games. Maybe we could get a new Bioshock (or even better a director's cut or remaster of Infinite) after all!
I loved both Bioshock 1 and 2, but this trailer got me more hyped about Infinite than I thought possibe. Still come back to watch it once or twice a year. All 3 special editions were so good, but especialy the LPs and the cage/songbird key were such great ideas.....
I wish there was I way I can erase the memory of me playing it so I can play it for the first time again. This is the only game I skiped school for and I could not wait until it was out. This is by far the best game i have ever played. 9.5/10.
GreshLord No game i have ever played deserved a 10/10 yet. 9.5/10 is the best I can give this game and is the highest I have ever given a game. I am not going to say 10/10 because I do not think this game is perfect but it damn close.

I felt everything. Anger, astonishment, and confusion. But it doesn't compare to the Sadness and complete realization of what had to happen. So close to the characters and it ended like that. This series really knows how to pull your heartstrings.

Wakinyan Martinez If only he never gave her away for some gambling debt. What kind of father is that? In the end he learned his lesson and had all the guilt of those 20 years come crashing down on him. I wish they had more time together as well especially because they were starting to bond progressively throughout the game and started to finally have the relationship that they should have had.
+RustyFiReWorKs Same here, but... The ending is great because it's like that ;) aaaand Elizabeth isn't dead! We don't see disappearing the last "copy" of her :D aaaaaaaaand yeah Booker is a bad dad, but hey, Elizabeth killed her father just to save Columbia from destruction or to save the world from destruction caused by Columbia :O p.s. the way we all hoped for... (Liz and Booker together)........ INCEEEEEST (just thoughts huh)
I absolutely loved Bioshock and Bioshock 2, but I rejected Infinite because it was such a departure from Rapture. When I finally got over my presumptions I discovered this was the BEST Bioshock game and certainty my favorite game story of all time! Can't wait until the backward comparability for Xbox One launches in November to play this again! (Anyway, I'm hoping this game is on the list)
well, you could play the DLCs as well, the episodes take you back to Rapture with awesome story just like Infinite, I guess the name "Burial Under The Sea" gives away the location, amirite?
@@amrabdelazeem9689 Burial-at-sea 's Rapture is completely different from the original Rapture... huge space locations, even Sky-lines... quite embarassing tbh, I bought the first episode and didn't like it, I didn't even buy Ep.2.
@@AksenowtCc To each their own, but you have to remember Rapture is much bigger than Bioshock 1 and 2 showed. You can't assume what is and isn't in Rapture from the first two games, the same way you can't assume you know the whole city of NYC from only going into 20 buildings. And considering how Infinite explained how Rapture and Columbia worked together on a regular basis, it wouldn't be unreasonable to see Sky-Lines. But I do see your point
@@dylankessler123 I know, but the style and environment was pretty much established... from the Pauper's Drop to the most luxurious quarters, you could completely identify its style. Remember that Rapture was created by Andrew Ryan and just himself (Bs1/2 canon). I know Infinite justified the changes with plot extensions, but in the eye of the first two games Andrew Ryan could have never "work together" with Columbia, I mean, R's strict philosophy and politics. And also thinking about level design, the map is really designed to fit the Infinite weapons and playstile (not talking about skylines, those are obvious but I mean the very rooms/buildings spaces that are designed different, more open for example). Then of course you can like it more or dislike it, but having played Bs1/2 before Burial at Sea, I didn't appreciate it at all
@@AksenowtCc You're definitely not wrong, and at the end of the day it's personal preference. I guess I was easily persuaded because I wanted to return to Rapture.
Seeing Columbia, how the trailer seeped with a hard boiled film noir tone to then to kick into Beast by Nico Vega? With the Vigors on full blast, seeing Songbird for the first time. I honestly think this trailer changed my life the first time I saw it nine years ago. I see so many people saying they’d give up their first time to experience it again? I would never. While it hurts to say; that time in my life is in the past. But what’s great is it happened. Why? Because it meant there was a time in my life when nothing really mattered, where I’d race home from school to jump back into the world of Infinite clawing my way through the game on Easy (that’s how new I was to gaming) to just as hurriedly race back to my classes the next day to gush over the game with my friends who would recommend other great games. BioShock Infinite helped me realize the potential of gaming, my place with the medium as a hobby I still have to this day. And for that it will always be my favorite game of all time. Cause no matter what happens: there will always be a lighthouse.
