We have a Wildax Callisto for over 5 years now and love it it’s a great way too see the country and there are so many sites with disabled facilities now we have been from the top to the bottom of the country. Keep going with your conversation you will love what it will able you to do 👍

This has always been a dream of mine too. Unfortunately I don't think my wife and family would really be up for the idea! Very interesting following your progress though! Thanks guys!

We've been wanting to do it for ages, keep pushing her, I'm sure you can convince her 😉 We've seen alot of people travelling in a van with their whole family so it's definitely possible.

These guys are doing something similar. I don't know if they will have any ideas you may see or not. OOps, don't know if you caught that...I posted this and didn't include the link 🙃. czcams.com/video/W-Mv3UpxlNo/video.html.
Becareful with your rags when oiling something. I oiled a headboard once and set the rag on a dresser...the wind blew into a drawer...we walked by and shut the drawer and went to take a nap. An hour or so later our dog woke us up...the rag had caught on fire and burned the dresser. She probably saved our life because my beau has no sense of smell. I obviously can't move fast...and well...we had a different appreciation of Pebbles after that.
Are those the push rims from his old chair? he just got the new ones...it seems a shame if they are marked up so soon. A permenant black marker is my trick. I have those same impact guards (the fork protectors that say Shimano...they are only $8.00 USD on Amazon...I hope he didn't pay through the roof at Hands on Concepts for those. None of my business...just saying.

We've been following quite a few other people converting vans, but not seen these ones before, thanks for sharing. The pushrims and fork protectors are both recycles from Craig's old chair, so no extra expense there 👍

@@PARALIFE ahhhhh...ok, I know how expensive these things can be. I need a deep contour Jay 3 back and the back alone is like $800.00...can you believe that? My head and neck rest was almost $500.00, my wheelchair power assist wheels were $7,000.00 😳...but I am going to try and get the company to swap my current Jay3 back with lateral supports for the deep contour back (wish me luck there...everyone wants a buck today) and maybe I could pay just the difference. If not, I'm going to donate it to Easter Seals. Jesus, for that grand total, I could have bought a used truck.

@@morgancalvi6675 yeah it's crazy expensive, we can easily that because this ADI deep contour was something around the same price! Fingers crossed you can get it changed. We thought standard wheels were really expensive but they're around 1/10th of your power assist ones. It really is crazy when you start comparing the cost of disability equipment to what else you could get for the same price!
