    This was a good refresher about changing a tire. I gave up screw drivers for tire levers long ago. No indication that this was your first video. Also, good job utilizing whatever technology is available that goes into making a video.

      Hey, I really appreciate that! Not only do we have more coming for this bike build but we are editing a pretty cool side by side modification video and I really think it’s going to be an interesting video if you’re into mechanical things!

    Cora would like to know when you plan to explain what you did to the jet ski 🤔
    Great video Travis! We can't wait to see what's next. 👏

      Thanks! Now, to my princess of speed Cora, if I could ask you to take on thing from that video it’s to never stop learning and you never know who you may learn something from! I only know who Nabbit is because I listened carefully when you explained to me how he can run right by the enemies without being hurt! Thanks for that fun lesson! Oh and BTW there will be watercraft ( Jet ski ) videos for sure! Maybe one day we could do a video together teaching other kids about simple tools? 🤔 Haha!

    Thanks for posting this! Very helpful. Keep ‘em coming.
    Just placed an order for a set of for my wr250r. I expect they’ll be a huge improvement from the stock trail wings.

      Thanks for the comment and I am glad you enjoyed the video! The WR is a great dual sport and these tires really will rip on that bike!

      Man you know how much more (****) Matt is going to give me now that even someone posted that I needed them!🤦‍♂️ HAHA! No joke though, I have made it to the age of saying, “I remember when I could keep this up all day…” It was too hot for this old fat guy! Getting old sucks but I guess it beats the alternative. Thanks for comment and hope to see ya on the next round! 👍👍

    And what is your opinion the MT21? Thank you

      You know, I feel like all over the Internet there are people giving opinions on things that they have no real basis to be able to give opinions on. If I had never had a cheeseburger before, I’d tell you a Mc D burger Is the best ever! This is part of why I did not want to give an opinion in the video but if asked I’ll give ya my initial 2 cents. The tread does feel hard, like it’s going to have a decent street lifespan for a fairly aggressive tire so take that into consideration. Long street miles I don’t have yet so I can’t give you much there but the little I’ve tried to lean on them (on the street) they feel great! Relatively great, don’t expect a Dunlop 17in race slick coming into a corner but they gave me a somewhat similar street confidence level of a Bridgestone Trail Wing 301 and a 301 is definitely a lesser tire off road in my opinion. I lowered the pressure down another couple PSI on these Ps and they really seemed to grip pretty well and that’s what I was trying to show on the video. The simple crash was 100% my fault. It goes from a loose soil to a hardpack and I tried to get the back tire to bite when I should have hit that corner flat track style! Very happy with the tires. If there were one thing I could change it would be the pricetag but come on we all wish things were cheaper or we had more money right! LOL. The bikes suspension on the other hand (if you’re trying to push it really hard) leaves much to be desired but again everything is relative! Im VERY impressed with the bike for the money Honda is asking for it! We will for sure have suspension mods on this build though. I see the bike in your profile. I just put a set of Roval wheels on my hard tail and have not turned them into a taco yet so pretty impressed. Yes I ride a hard tail go ahead pick on me, I’m used to it. 😆 (I live on the gulf coast no real MTB terrain like out west) Anyway, thanks for the comment. I do hope you enjoy the video. 👍👍

      @@Freedonkeyrides thank you for your feedback. I have a Mitas E09 on the front and i feel the profile is too round and feel that it wants to run away from me on the dirt corners. Have you tried the Mitas? Do you believe a more square profile will be better on dirt cornering? Thanks!

    • @Freedonkeyrides
      @Freedonkeyrides  Před 2 lety

      @@koalaboyTT It really depends a lot on the bike and the type of dirt you are riding on. Normally a smaller, softer block will get better traction in a soft dirt but on the street you will regret it. Every tire is going to be better at some things and worse at others so you have to find that one that works for you AND the bike you have. I have not ridden on the E09 but I have seen them in person and they look decent. Have you tried lowering the pressure some when you ride off road?

    • @koalaboyTT

      @@Freedonkeyrides yes, went down to 1bar. The tyre itself is quite hard, not very flexible. I am portuguese and did cross the country OffRoad on my dr650 with those tyres and the only complaint was that. The ground was mostly hardpack, sometimes with some loose over hardpack.
