I'm not sure if you'll see this, but I have a suggestion for a monster. It's a monster that camouflages and blends in with the environment. The only way to see him is like an outline or distorted area in the wall or floor or a vague silhouette and there'd be like a quiet-to-loud sound once you're in an area close to him. He'd just be like a stationary monster, like if you get really close to him he'll kill you, like roof monster, or once you get close, he chases and attacks you, but once you outrun him, he'll just hide and camouflage again, that's all. The game looks good, looking forward to playing it.

hey socks, i was thinking you could add more animation. like with the roof guy, i was thinking he could pick you up and take you into the roof, and maybe on multiplayer instead of you having to spectate after you die to him, you become him and you can troll your friends even more. then for benny maybe an animation where he picks you up and crushes your skull, theres also a few more i thought of, like he picks you up and just swallows you whole, or picks you up and snaps your neck, and the last one is he picks you up and throws you around. (he could also pick you up and use you as a weapon when in multiplayer) maybe also add a new game mode? like hide and seek where someone becomes benny and has to search for the other players. And an animation for the vent guy is he pulls you in the vent and eats your head off and throws you out
Doubt you'll see this, but I have a silly little idea. What if you have a monster (could be Benny) that when they spot you, there is absolutely no notification or audio. And they don't kill you right away, they simply get behind you and stand there until you turn around, at which point it will kill you. It would make some hilarious moments of people turning around and instantly dying.

u probably wont see this but a cool idea for the sanity mechanic is that instead of just dying, ur player character actually goes insane and starts attacking ur friends. pretty funny too.

There could be an oil rig level with endless bridges high above the water. The puzzles could involve pushing oil canisters to certain places. If you fall off, you need to swim to a ladder. And of course, 2 new monsters. The first one is like, a demon shark with 4 mouth parts, whih is in the water, so if you fall off, get to a ladder as fast as possible. And the second one can fly and snatch you off the bridges.

A cool idea is if you go insane u actually become a monster, this would be funny with friends and be a part of the lore on how Benny got there but if its singleplayer then u still become a monster but now player NPCs will spawn and it will be your mission to kill them

You should have made a window that is placed everywhere and if you look in it, it gives a hint where Benny is and sometimes if the window is cracked open a lil bit you'll get attacked by a smiley face that opens up into something scary that has a eyeball at the top and rows or teeth at the bottom
Make it so that in the lore, Benny used all of his power to reshape the original lore of the backrooms
it would be very nice and cute if you made each level progressively getting darker and creepier to fit benny's transformation from cute to scary.

Doubt you will see this but an idea is what if a monster could be like a mimic of an employee of Alcazar and he mimics voices and he kills you by streching out a really long toung from his stomach and reveals a long gapping mouth, could be funny to watch it eat friends

What i think should be changed is the ambience on the levels. The first two levels shouldn't have any fog or smoke making it difficult to see because the main thing why it's scary is the empty hallways repeating the same thing over and over again and the sounds on the first level should be you walking on the moist carpet and a very faint sound of your heart beating. The third level should have dark lighting and a monster that's able to shapeshift. The sound on there should be water sloshing and echoing throughout the sewer. The fourth one should have a slight blue ambience to give a freezing effect and it should also have hot coffee that gives you a boost in running and makes you warmer but an aftereffect that makes you a little slower.

I have a idea for some Benny lore that you can ignore the idea is that benny was made by a person who clipped into the backrooms and slowly went insane building a stuffed freind for company but eventually he went completely insane and ripped out bennys insides and got in or his soul went into bennys and his last thought stuck he needed to free anyone in the backrooms but his way of doing that is killing them

Socks I like the game and I’m surprised it only took u like a year or so. But something that would be cool is in the frozen foods map if people go really deep in the map it starts to become crazy and the foods start to look weird. This is based off of a store with hidden rooms and slides and some products start to look like they are stretched out and stuff

He should make an abandoned hospital and benny is on a hospitality bed but he can get up if to close also to keep you company there should be a monster surgeon called the bloodshed it is basically a surgeon sheep and it can be killed at yhe end of the puzzle. The puzzle should be reviving a dead body. And hiw the monster will die is you got to slap it with a metal pipe from the pipes map and the monster will get up and chase you then make a chase scene and then you will see the exit and quickly run there also be careful because roof guy will be there. Thats my concept

hey, just a little suggestion for how benny behaves throughout the level to make it more intense for the players
Level 1: walking only, easy to evade, cannot go in vents
level 2: walks but chases you when you're on sight for too long, can go into vents
level 3: always running, loud running footstep when near the player, weird distorted voice and can crawl to vents
level 4: always running but more faster, loud running footstep when near the player, weird distorted voice (so that the players gets intense and scared when they know Benny's near) can crawl inside vents but 2x faster, has a intense background music when getting chased by Benny.
that's all, i just wanted to share my suggestion and i hope you put this in the game to make it more intense, imo.
ps: throughout the levels, Benny should be able to progressively get closer to the player and by level 4 he should be able to catch up to the player so that's the players are forced into hiding before Benny could even get a sight on them, this makes the players pray for their lives to not get caught by Benny and make it more intense.

Socks heres some ideas for the game
Starting from lvl 2, there is a roll between 20 different modes for benny, each having custom movement, attacks, looks, etc.
Roof guy should have a mode that after he is disturbed enough, he can actually crawl out and move around in a small radius on the ceiling.
Also you should have a new mode for the game after you beat it. 1 Person becomes Benny while the others try to beat the game.
Make it so you can import your own character models I know it's a lot of work but it would be really cool

can you please make a game about people who walked into a mysterious room in 1998 and then transformed into monsters their weakness is something you can find in the game but some monsters give you items but if you use them more than 4 times in each level they turn into a demon and they kill you and there is multiplayer, levels, tasks, hiding spots, guns, phones, toxic monsters that blow out poisonous gas, and of course gas masks. and you have to kill all the monsters in the last level.

I feel like a good thing to add is level specific entities like for the pipes there could be a starfish entity in the water
Roofie should grab his victims and drag them up into the ceiling instead of blasting them off again. The imposter (the sus wind-up music man in the vents) should also yoink the bodies, like the mimic fire exits from lethal company. Also, seeing the museum reminds me of the weeping angel type entities (the cowards that only move when they think nobody's watching: think endos, coilheads, scp-173, the elf on the shelf: you get the picture). Overall, it seems like it could be a really solid game

I’d just like to say something, with the character design there’s a weird difference between the ceiling dude, with the vent dude and Benny. Don’t get me wrong the designs are amazing, but I feel that the designs would fit a lot better if they looked more alike. Fyi you should call the vent guy ‘Venty’ and the roof guy ‘Roofy’ like how Benny has his own play on words.
