- I just gotta say - OnePlus 12R is a fantastic device for gaming in 2024. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 could be better than the 8 Gen 3 in some cases.

I wanted to see a test with the vivo x100 pro because it has the dimension and to this day there are no videos about its real performance.

Ye, 8 Gen 2 is more conservative in terms of performance but that also means no excessive heating and less thermal throttling

I hope that Genshin Impact v4.6 will optimize the iPhone metalfx at max settings. I am seeing 5.5 watt average power draw and high heat from this game.
I doubt that chip can handle. iPhones and iPads thermal throttle quite aggressively
It's weird how a flagship chip fluctuats between 120 and 60 fps. Oneplus needs to fix this bug.

Very different. You can have 144Hz screen but the game only running at 30fps.

Redmi Turbo 3 seems to be better for gaming with a more powerful CPU, better memory and AI for hardware enhancement for games. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has better architecture and capabilities thanks to AI and more.I will also add that 8s Gen 3 will be even better with updates and fixes.

Well yes unless you are playing low end games, its power draw is even lower than 8 gen 3. Im talking about 8s gen 3. @@NasiLemakTech
8s gen 3 loses to 8 gen 2 in terms of efficiency per watt. That means you'll have higher power consumption and higher temps. Lower L3 cache is also bottlenecking if you're doing CPU intensive tasks. 8 gen 2 also have a better modem and ISP over the 8s gen 3. The upper hand where 8s gen 3 has over 8 gen 2 is AI capabilities and lower chip price (when launch).
So mobile gaming now needs more CPU power than GPU eh? Can't wait to see Qualcomm next Snapdragon SoC with their new Oryon CPU..hope that it will somehow fix the bottleneck that happening in Android mobile SoC as for now..
