Traptrix now has to care about the Maxx C minigame, very cool.
@@FakeHeroFang has had to for a good while now, even pre-support you wanted to see Shade or eXceed pretty much every time. I feel like now Maxx C is a little less problematic cuz the field spell lets you sneak in an extra normal.
@@catanaoni I know Sera pass was never ideal, but they're playing less backrow and more extenders now, so you're extra boned if you start with a hand full of monsters.
You can also dodge a draw with Arachnocampa, but you're giving them like 2 draws minimum if you do anything more than Sera. It still sucks, either way.

I have had the same thing happen to me that happened to Vibu. The worst thing is, they had their 3rd Evenly Matched a turn or two after. It was pain.
Traptrix can maybe survive 1 Evenly? 2 is a no go, and a third is just bullying
That PUNK path is right when you play pure PUNKs. The point is to bait out the Ash as long as you can to safely Carp with the field spell active

Glad people are finally showing my pet deck some love. The first box of cards I ever bought was high speed riders because it’s all the local card store near me had, so the deck has a special place in my heart.

Speedroids is an ultra consistent deck with multiple 1 and 2 card combos that can set up a strong board with plenty of room for tech card options as well as easy to access follow up plays...It's just that it's a hard deck to pilot that has fragile choke points

You still have to send Sera evenly bypasses uneffected monsters because it makes YOU banish them

So, chaining Baldrake to the Called By does prevent Magnamhut's effect from being negated for the rest of turn 2 and turn 3. This includes both its search on end phase and its ability to summon itself. This is relevant since they summoned it by its own effect to use as material to make Accesscode for game, but assuming they had another Bystial target in deck, they could have just gotten a different Bystial with Lubellion.
There is an argument to be made that it may have been better to hold the Baldrake. If they hadn't chained Baldrake, Magnamhut would still have been shuffled into the deck for Regained's draw effect and they would have kept Baldrake as a potential disruption. I don't think hoping to resolve Magnamhut's search effect is worthwhile since you wouldn't be searching until the END phase of turn 3 anyway. Notably, letting the Called By resolve would also turn off a potential opponent's Magnamhut. Then, when the opponent activated Branded in White, the Baldrake would have been live to blank the summon of the opponent's Druiswurm.
Hindsight is 20/20, but what do you think? Was it worth banking on potentially getting a search for turn 4?
I just had a brainfart when i did baldrake ban magna, for a moment tought with called i couldn't use regained eff.
