Mixing and applying joint setting compound

In this video I show how to mix a small batch of joint setting compound and apply it to a ceiling. This technique works for any of the dry bag compounds whether it is a 5, 20, 45 or 90 minute setting type. The mixing technique (once you get used to it) will be neat and allow you to mix without making a powdery mess. I then show how to apply this joint compound to sheetrock. I demonstrate this on the ceiling, but this same technique is used for wall repairs.
