I watch this every year with my daughter since she was small , she is 10 now we still do it every year ... Same as home alone , santa Claus and a few others. We all should have traditions.

That ending line always makes me tear up
This was the last movie I saw in a theater with my parents. We lived in Glasgow for three years when I was young. I enjoyed the movie and I really enjoyed listening to the two of you commenting on it. thank you for making this video.

one of my absolute favorite movies that I hold dear since childhood.
And I'd like to explain Billy's backstory here in the comments in case you haven't already figured it out yourself but I don't know how to phrase it ..
let's just say it has something to do with the ''circumstances'' that Billy grows up with and that's the reason why Christmas ''doesn't work out for him''.. that's also the reason for why he didn't want to let go of his present and why the lesson he learned was to count on/ rely on people because maybe his parents always promised him something around christmas year after year but just couldn't keep the promise so he came to the conclusion that Christmas doesn't work out for him like it does for other children.
I love this movie but those elves are kinda creepy

I saw this movie when it came out in IMAX (and maybe even in 3-d) and the special effects were a little weird and I remember getting nauseous in parts….
And Lewis is right…why is there a pan in the middle of the room☺️

I watch the polar express for 6 year
Billy lived on the wrong side of the tracks. That meant he lived in a poor side of town. He probably did not get much growing up.
