This is an Italian driver, and you can see most of his videos on my channel. Having said that, this is one of the best! The best 4cylinder sound with one of the best 8cylinder sounds (some say F355 sounds better, but the downshifts, and the howl under throttle here is awesome). You can see him pushing the S2000, hitting the limiter sometimes, downshifting to 1st (!) around the middle, and some hints of power shifting here and there. This is mostly a Mugenized S2000 according to the driver.
@NissanNismoRacer This isn't what a ricer does, this is what a performance enthusiast does. I'll bet that s2k doesn't have silly vents all over the place or a multitude of unsponsored stickers or is lowered by chopped springs.
Nice driving and oh so beautifull Modenas. Part of the fun of driving a relatively low power car with great handling is being able to keep up with cars such as the Ferraris in this videos. In this case the S2000 was faster overall thanks to a good driver and a well prepared car. Looks like the Ferrary boys had a hard time accepting thet the little Honda was faster.
I think Honda should up the cylinders but keep the engine liters small.. for example.. instead of a 3.5 liter V6 in the new NSX, they could use a 3.6 liter V8 or V10... that way you can keep the gas milage while making the engine sound better..

if you conbine 4 s2000 engines for a new supercar you can produce 920 hp naturally aspirated engine with 8000cc :D its almost better than a 8000cc quad-turbocharged 1000 hp bugatti veyron :)
@UmarS2000 This match-up was unfair. I have a 360 Spider and after owning and driving 1 I think Honda did a great job. Making a convertible able to keep up with a 360 Modena. If I was in front of this S2000 with my 360 Spider, I wouldn't be able to see any smoke at all because the S2000 would've lapped me and right behind my back side again and again and again and again.
From what I see the S2 is going flat out and using the whole track, the 360s aren't. Why, because going over the ripples like the Honda is or changing down and reducing your clutch life when you pay the maintenance bill isn't cool. Sure you could say they shouldn't then be on the track but get real. The clutch under heavy use will only last 4-6000 miles and at USD$4-5000(can be more) is expensive as is rubber and suspension. Still good driving from the Honda guy but put it in perspective.
This guy is a driver!! S2k is a beast on track, it was made for it. Can't wait to get my next year:)
