    recently saw some stuff online about cutting back or off co2 last couple weeks of flower stating excessive foxtailing and thc degradtion - never heard that before , I was always the impression it was good thru all stages of growth until the very end

    • @PAHydroponics
      @PAHydroponics  Před 4 lety

      Yes I have heard of it especially for foxtailing or just fluffing up at the end, I dont run it first 3 weeks of flower just to keep down stretch too, as for the thc haven't heard that - yet. Peace. G

    • @kenshinhimura9387
      @kenshinhimura9387 Před 3 lety

      Yeah none of that is true. High temps is what cause foxtailing. You can run co2 from day 1 of flower all the way to harvest and get 3lbs per light all day, every day.

I just got hooked up with free tanks and refills unfortunately i'm just running 2 600w 6x6 tents(4 plants per tent) i don't have the money for the 1000s right yet and want to get more value/uses out of my 600s so ill just keep it around 750 to 1000ppm to not waste co2. thanks for all this content i'm learning a lot from you I just wish i could support you by using your store but i'm in Canada

    • @22koga
      @22koga Před 4 lety +1

      If the room was 100% sealed yes over time with enough but no the only real way to take advantage of CO2 is 1000w lights and temp controlled sealed room like mine im in a closet that i lined and duct taped with plastic and put a seal on the door its not 100% because of the bottom of the door with just a towel but pretty well sealed

    • @PAHydroponics
      @PAHydroponics  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey there, if your in a basement you may not need to worry at all about Co2 as basement usually run high, if you do put a bag in there put it above your circulation fan so the co2 falls and hits the fan and blows right on the plants. Sometimes you may not see a difference with or with out it just depends on your area. Sorry I cant answer better on this, Have a good day! Gary

    • @PAHydroponics
      @PAHydroponics  Před 4 lety +2

      Hello, good question! And I dont know the answer, I know that when it gets over 2500ppm the plant stomatas which are like tiny mouths that open and close on the leaves stop closing and then the plant cant control its rate of photosynthesis and also it cant keep its perspiration right so I would guess the plant would yellow out and not be doing very well, anybody else have an answer??? Thanks for the comment. Gary

    +1 sub from the UK. Great vids.
    Couple questions regarding the bags if you would..
    Averaging 400ppm naturally.. how much do the bags increase this co2 reading by?
    Do they need removing at night?
    Do they cause many humidity problems?
    In a 1.2×1.2×2m space, running 500m3/ph extraction 24/7 .. is there any point to putting them in there in the first place.
    Thanks in advance

    • @PAHydroponics
      @PAHydroponics  Před 5 lety

      Hey, the bags help maintain the co2 and pretty much keep up with what the plants are needing, with a few in that size space you could get it up towards a 800-1000 ppm and see bigger results but some will get sucked out by exhaust. So if you have plenty of fresh air and only add 1 bag you might not see any results at all. They are really for people with not much air flow. As for humidity - they won't increase the humidity. Hope this help with the confusion. Gary
