recently saw some stuff online about cutting back or off co2 last couple weeks of flower stating excessive foxtailing and thc degradtion - never heard that before , I was always the impression it was good thru all stages of growth until the very end
Yes I have heard of it especially for foxtailing or just fluffing up at the end, I dont run it first 3 weeks of flower just to keep down stretch too, as for the thc haven't heard that - yet. Peace. G
Yeah none of that is true. High temps is what cause foxtailing. You can run co2 from day 1 of flower all the way to harvest and get 3lbs per light all day, every day.
Very good video I need to flush mine ASAP as vene feeding too much feeding every other water with full amounts. My plants burning and I been wondering what I been doing wrong. Il just flush in morning and then hopefully they come up back
man thanks for this video i'm new to co2 injection and you just showed me what i need to get started. I just got hooked up with free tanks and refills unfortunately i'm just running 2 600w 6x6 tents(4 plants per tent) i don't have the money for the 1000s right yet and want to get more value/uses out of my 600s so ill just keep it around 750 to 1000ppm to not waste co2. thanks for all this content i'm learning a lot from you I just wish i could support you by using your store but i'm in Canada
Thanks Gary, I appreciate the time that you take to make these teaching video's. I will contact you in the very near future about buying a dwc system for a 5x9 gorilla tent setup. Is it possible to go with a 10 bucket system in this configuration?
Currently we do not... we have an 8 site that fits perfectly in a 5x9 Gorilla tent. shop.pahydroponics.com/do-it-yourself-8-plant-mini-8-gallon-fallponic-system-no-pvc-not-drilled/ I provided a link to the 8 gallon sites but you could go to larger 13 gallon sites.
I think a plant would get cooked is it a day or two in my attic (on the hot side of the house) during the summer...I'd need to run a AC unit @ max full time. Edit-->What I really wanted to say was another great video Gary thank you very much!
can i use a cheap exhale co2 bag infront of an intake fan or osscolating fan instead of hanging it above the plants as the out take fan will most likely take this all away to fast not allowing it to fall @PA Hydroponics
Got a question.. I'm on a budget grow.. I am using a yeast sugar mix with a two bottle method to bubble co2 into my room... is this method really gonna give me more co2 or is it gonna be just a waste of effort?
If the room was 100% sealed yes over time with enough but no the only real way to take advantage of CO2 is 1000w lights and temp controlled sealed room like mine im in a closet that i lined and duct taped with plastic and put a seal on the door its not 100% because of the bottom of the door with just a towel but pretty well sealed

Hey there, If it has a plug in regulator with a solenoid it will work. but a regular regulator that doesnt turn off will just blow thru tanks but your probably can be controlled so go for it. G
Have you got feed chart you can send me for advanced nutrients 3 part pH perfect please it would be a great help as I got no stickers on the ones I brought.
Hey there, if your in a basement you may not need to worry at all about Co2 as basement usually run high, if you do put a bag in there put it above your circulation fan so the co2 falls and hits the fan and blows right on the plants. Sometimes you may not see a difference with or with out it just depends on your area. Sorry I cant answer better on this, Have a good day! Gary
Let's say I am going to use pressurized co2 but am not going to monitor or control the levels. What are the symptoms the plants will show that it's too high?
Hello, good question! And I dont know the answer, I know that when it gets over 2500ppm the plant stomatas which are like tiny mouths that open and close on the leaves stop closing and then the plant cant control its rate of photosynthesis and also it cant keep its perspiration right so I would guess the plant would yellow out and not be doing very well, anybody else have an answer??? Thanks for the comment. Gary
Highly recommend trading the oxygen bottles for the correct ones. If you take them to a shop they will often give you credit towards the purchase of another bottle.
+1 sub from the UK. Great vids. Couple questions regarding the bags if you would.. Averaging 400ppm naturally.. how much do the bags increase this co2 reading by? Do they need removing at night? Do they cause many humidity problems? In a 1.2×1.2×2m space, running 500m3/ph extraction 24/7 .. is there any point to putting them in there in the first place. Thanks in advance
Hey, the bags help maintain the co2 and pretty much keep up with what the plants are needing, with a few in that size space you could get it up towards a 800-1000 ppm and see bigger results but some will get sucked out by exhaust. So if you have plenty of fresh air and only add 1 bag you might not see any results at all. They are really for people with not much air flow. As for humidity - they won't increase the humidity. Hope this help with the confusion. Gary
@@PAHydroponics it does help, and thanks for the reply. I'm putting together a set up before starting and can see your vids will become a lot of use.. thanks Again!

I'm looking at a 4 Burner
I have a 1/5 tank with a water bubble regulator from my fish tank days. I grew water plants. Would that work in a 4x4 tent?

@@PAHydroponics ok it does have plug on it. Thanks
I'm looking for a Co2 monitor, but everything I'm coming across is $100 or more. Is that just the standard price?
I think the sensor is complicated and costly for co2 so that is why, thanks for watching:) G
5:10 me with my 5lb co2 tank for my singular 3x3 grow tent....oopsie🙃
sorry for two comments but i was wondering if you had a 600w running what would you in your experience keep your ppm of co2 at?
Have you got feed chart you can send me for advanced nutrients 3 part pH perfect please it would be a great help as I got no stickers on the ones I brought.
No stickers does not sound good but advanced has a great nutrient calculator on there website: www.advancednutrients.com/nutrient-calculator/
What if you just put some dry ice in a cooler and vented it so it would slowly seep out?
Yes that would work fine and keep it cool if you have a good dry ice source.G
Dry ice will usually raise your RH up 5 -10%.. just be mindful if your in mid-late flowering

I dont run it at beginning of flower, it makes the stretch way worse from what I have seen.
