im a big fan of how seamless the lap 3 mod is overall. really feels like it could be a part of the actual game for the most part, but i understand why they wouldnt wanna go too far with that mechanic. you pretty much have to have mastered peppinos moveset and all of the little tech to pull off a good chunk of these.
I’m also a big fan, it really just feels like official game content. I think it honestly could’ve been implemented, most levels are somewhat manageable. Maybe taking out stage gimmicks and making some platforming a bit easier for lap 3 couldve of worked for the official game, but I do agree with you because some levels are absolutely hell with lap 3

I’m personally a big fan of oh shit, the theme and layout is very nice and the ninja lookin pizza slices are so satisfying when parried, although if your going to P rank this level I suggest you don’t.
For some reason, the big cheese slime at the beginning that turns you into a cheeseball isn't there when I play the mod. If anyone knows why, please reply on this comment.
Thanks, the fix was at 8:44. The pipe used to take you in a longer pathway down to the exit pipe, and pizzaface could catch you in the pipe. The fix made the pipe go straight to the exit instead of going a longer way. Here’s another lap 3 video for reference, where they edit the pipe in question: czcams.com/video/eO9nvbH6Xcc/video.html
@@stupidlegoproductions yeah they definitely could’ve slowed pizzaface down, but I honestly think it would’ve made the room much to easy. The room was pretty big, and the edit to pipe was simple. Anyways, the mod creator already slightly tweaked some elements of other stages for smoother lap 3s
In fact, there have been modifications to this level in order to make it possible, without this mod, it would be impossible because when you enter the zig-zagging pipe at the end of the room filled with pipes Pizza Face would catch you 100% of the times, they accelerates the speed at which you go through pipes to make it possible
Fun fact: the any% speedrun chooses to skip this level entirely due to it having BY FAR the longest escape section
That’s interesting, doesn’t feel like the escape is that much longer than other level. But I never timed it before, so it sounds right
It's escape time is 4:30, which I think is longer than golf

A lot of people would consider this level to be the worst in the game but I'll give it points for being the funniest level

I like the level too, and the parrying is very nice. I didn’t have too much difficulty p ranking, but I can definitely see why it would be difficult
Fun fact : this level was deemed impossible due to the pipes at the end so the lap 3 mod shortened the duration of the last pipe at the end

If that rat nearby the exit gate regenerated every lap, lap 3 would be impossible
