It makes sense that Doom will enter the MCU soon. He is the greatest Supervillain.
What we know... The Loki variant seeks to utterly destroy the multiversal threat of the Kangs ("WE HAVE TO PREPARE!") THIS is the driving storyline of season two. He will use WHATEVER information the TVA has to this end. All Loki variants are clever enough to know that you can never stop the Dynasty of Kangs by trimming each variant. To do that you must cut off Nathaniel Richards at the ROOT. Thanks to Michael Waldron, we know that the root is Doom. Like the comics, ten centuries before Nathaniel Richards discovered it, Victor Von Doom invented the Space-Time Platform. Somehow, Loki-variant will learn of Doom and seek him out (maybe even ca 1960, Latveria?). THIS is how Doom learns of the Kangs. And Doom will be the medicine that "cures" the disease of the Kangs. And sometimes the cure is worse than the disease!
Latest Doom should arrive is THUNDERBOLTS. It is a perfect time for him to arrive on the scene for audiences and Earth-616. The world is desperate. Iron Man is dead. Steve Rogers is gone. Thor is missing. The AVENGERS are NO MORE. Celestial space-gods appear as continents in the Indian Ocean, and menace Earth visibly from near-earth orbit. Skrulls invade, replacing state leaders. How many more Thanoses lurk "out there" awaiting to invade Earth, either enslaving us or wiping out humankind? Wong is on Earth, sure, but Doctor Strange is missing. New heroes remain divided and untried.
By 2026 the world situation is dire. There is a new race for governments to assemble teams of enhanced super-powered champions. It is likely that a new president of the United States may attempt to make himself immortal and impervious to replacement or assassination by becoming a Hulk via dubious science. Governments dream of armies of Hulk-like soldiers that can repel alien threats, and perhaps even a champion BEYOND a Hulk, like the Sentry. Imagine if an unstable experiment like the Sentry is exposed to the latent psychic energies of the Dreaming Celestial Tiamut... He could go insane and wreak genocidal havoc on Earth.
Now is the perfect time for a SUPERIOR Iron Man, one more brilliant at science than Hank Pym, as adept at sorcery as Dr. Strange, and as noble as T'Challa. Yeah, it makes sense that Marvel Studios would introduce Doom, the ruler of Latveria unseen for half a century (why? preparing for the Kangs), as a "BABYFACE" to use Professional Wrestling parlance. In other words, he's introduced looking like a hero willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good of the earth. This would be Mysterio times 1,000. With a Doom-led win against a threat like the Void/Sentry, and with NO FANTASTIC FOUR to inform the world otherwise, Doom will gain the trust of a battle-weary, post-Snap world that is addicted to an Answer-man with all the answers.
And Doom's mother was a witch. He knows of the Darkhold and its prophecy of the Scarlet Witch. He doesn't need America Chavez to travel between universes and dimensions and times... with his Space-Time Platform, Doom can prevent the suicide of Wanda Maximoff. Then getting rid of the Kangs is as easy as having her say, "NO MORE KANGS." And Doom has the genius to reconstitute and reprogram Ultron into his personal bodyguard.
It is likely that Wong, for dramatic purposes, will perish fighting the Nathaniel Richards' variants in AVENGERS KANG DYNASTY. And then, in that film, Doom will see to it that the Kangs will be destroyed. This destabilizing event, the equivalent of dropping an Atomic Bomb in the Multiversal War, will probably be the catalyst that
1) triggers Multiverse-wide unstoppable cascading Incursion-events
2) causes the Holy Vishanti to summon Strange and Clea back to Earth-616 to compete for the position of Sorcerer Supreme.
We know from the Ancient One in ENDGAME that Stephen Strange is expected to be the greatest of all Sorcerors Supreme, but that cannot happen while Wong lives. Trust me, Wong's days are numbered (btw, have you ever heard Alex or the Cosmic Circus talk about that OBVIOUS story element?). And who will come in second place when all the remaining magic users compete? Doom.
So with that understood, DOCTOR STRANGE 3 likely will be a loose adaptation of both TRIUMPH AND TORMENT and Hickman's TIME RUNS OUT. With both the Scarlet Witch (standing in for the Molecule Man), and Stephen Strange, Doom will save what is left of all realities after the Ultimate Incursion event, and create Battleworld setting up AVENGERS SECRET WARS and the final, secret Phase of the MULTIVERSE SAGA. Maybe.
Then, solving the problem of GOD-EMPEROR DOOM will involve Wanda and her redemption.
Btw, Michael Waldron AND Sam Raimi LOVE Doctor Doom, unlike young "scoopers" who aren't familiar with HOW IMPORTANT TO MARVEL this character is. You can NEVER underestimate Doom, the poster villain of the whole company. I can see the first AVENGERS SECRET WARS movie being shot back-to-back with Doctor Strange 3.
With all the setup of Young Avengers, maybe they begin Wanda's redemption in AVENGERS CHILDREN'S CRUSADE, loosely adapted from the comics which NICELY folds into many of the same God-like transformations happening to Doom in both SECRET WARS 84 and 2015. Who can direct that? My money is on Jon Watts. And then the big final battle against Doom at the end of this Battleworld Phase Seven, AVENGERS FOREVER capping off two decades of Marvel Studios. ANd who knows? Perhaps the Russo Brothers can direct that greatest Avengers flick.

Didn't some people said that when the late Stan Lee was interviewed he said that Dr. Doom is his favorite supervillain.
The MCU movies will portray Dr. Doom as a lame supervillain again.
MCU Secret Wars will be a let down without Dr. Doom. Even tho they’re building Kang up like he’s going to be Doom’s role, I really hope Kang is actually subbing in for Beyonder/Beyonders. Guess we’ll see if the name “Rabam Alul” starts going around 🤞
They should have built up doom rather than Kang, or do both simultaneously
They need to adapt the Books of Doom as a Disney Plus limited series or Marvel Studios movie.

@@AlexanderWebbYT You know my choice to play Doom is narrowed down to two actors. Javier Bardem and Mads Mikkelson would both crush it as Doom.
I would be totally fine with either one of them, but honestly since they may have cast Adam Driver as Reed I kind of want someone a bit younger to play Doom. Personally I think Sam Witwer would be great since he has the voice acting background too.

They have a good template for an MCU Dr Doom in Terence Stamp's General Zod and Khan Noon Singh. They don't need to get a star. I'd much prefer an unknown Shakespearean actor with a powerful presence, like a young Patrick Stewart.

The one thing that the MCU needs to refrain from doing is showing Doom's face. The MCU and disney have such a hard on for face time that its beyond annoying and our favorite heroes and villains barely wear their masks. Doom's mask needs to stay on the ENTIRE time. I don't mind if we see it in flashbacks or one jumpscare face reveal, but thats it. He needs to keep it on 99% of his screen time. Its an integral part of his character. Its why i prefer hes played by a more unknown actor in the MCU. The more unknown, the less face time we'll get. Someone like Cilian Murphy (a huge fancast) will have us showing his face constantly which will ruin the character
Showing his face isn’t that big a deal since Marvel does it every now and then. But I think having a small scar would show how vain he is , that small blemish on his perfection. Doom ego has always been fun , can take down the Avengers just to study them . Then have that never ending rivalry with Mr Fantastic, the idea that someone else may rival his intellect is almost to much to take.
I just hope that don’t kill him off. Doom may be power hungry but he does have a sense of honor and duty to his people.
