    I think 90% of the issue or problem with the Panthers and why their fans are upset and the backlash is because of David Tepper!! Dude is a disgruntled, over bearing power hungry man child! A billionaire baby if you will! From the drink toss at the fans to being angry with a restaurant over their sign! Which by the way only said something like Owners shouldnt be making draft picks and Tepper went inside complaining and crying demanding it be changed! Plus being a meddling menace he took a mans hat right off his head because it was either an Eagles or Cowboys dont remember! But Tepper is exactly what you would get if Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder had a love child! He needs to chill out and let his GM and Coaches do their job!! The fans would be more likely to want to help pay for the Stadium remodel! and support stuff if he wasnt the way he is! 3 Head Coaches in 3 years at Panthers and his Charlotte FC MLS have been through 3 in 3 years also! At some point dude needs to realize maybe HE is the common theme in all the issues!!

    If they love the location of BOA Stadium, then great, no problem with that, but can somebody explain to me why they wouldn’t tear down and build a super stadium at the same site? There are more than a few temporary options for the Panthers to play two seasons of football in. Somewhat nearby, you have stadiums in Greenville, Winston Salem, and Chapel Hill that are more than suitable for a temporary situation. That’s not even including somewhere like Columbia, SC or Raleigh. It’s not like the Carolinas are short on football stadiums that can seat 50, 60k +fans for 2 season.

    Stadiums are real bad deals for the citizens who cannot afford to attend games or are not interested in sports. And the return on investment is a marketing talking point. ROI- Taxpayers build the stadium and owners keep parking, tickets, events and concessions in large part or all. Marketing says it brings in tourist, sells out hotels and helps restaurants. Typically fans come from 75 miles or closer and it is a day trip. They often tail gate, bring their own food or eat at the stadium. City prices are too high so fans avoid those places. Football is great for cities enjoyment, really great for the owners pockets.

  • @VTPSTTU
    @VTPSTTU Před 3 měsíci +2

    What's actually wrong with the stadium? Is it unsafe in some way? Is it dirty? Is seeing a game there really that difficult because of how the seats are arranged?
    If a stadium is safe and clean and has generally good lines of sight to the field, that's all that anyone really needs. I wouldn't care whether the stadium has all of the trendy extras that stadium connoisseurs want. Those things are fun sometimes, but a good "old-school" stadium that is safe and clean is also fun. That many owners think that they have to compete for all of the trendy stuff may be part of what's wrong with the NFL. Football is not supposed to be trendy. Football is not supposed to be controlled by people who care what is trendy.

    Depressed Ginger has an elitist attitude toward any stadium that isn't on par with SoFi, Allegiant, or Jerry's World. Not every city can afford a Taj Mahal style stadium and most fans are perfectly fine with a halfway decent stadium that has a functioning sewage system and isn't crumbling, because we care more about having a great team than a luxurious stadium. I've been to BOA once and it was fine except for the restrooms. The ones I saw had 5 urinals, 2 stalls, and 2 sinks which is woefully inadequate for an NFL venue.

      San Diego offers largest TV market available right now available and team value would increase being in southern California. San Diegans can't stand LA San Diego county metro is basically 4 million people and if u include parts of southern Riverside county and imperial valley county to the east you are talking 7 million plus people.

      I live in southern Riverside County. There USED to be some people who spotted Chargers gear, but basically only Murrieta and Temecula act as though they have any connection to San Diego. MOST of the County rightly sees itself as part of the greater LA area. Don't try to rewrite what's going on here because you want to make San Diego look better than it actually is.
