This video helped me alot❤😇

You may have addressed it but I am confused on finding the Magnetic Bering. I understand that you add the declination (23° West) to your true Bering. But from other navigation videos I’ve seen a Western declination is always a Negative number so you would be adding -23° to 94° equaling 71° instead of 117°
I am still struggling with grasping magnetic declination so it would really help if you could correct me. Thanks!
Thank you

Improvement on my map work skills

This was really helpful and I got full marks on my geography. Thank you for the advice your a really good teacher... I never knew anything about how to do this until I watched your video
I am glad I could help 🙂 you’re welcome. Big ups don’t forget to subscribe 😉
wait so when you calculate your true North do you have to add 180º like you did in order to get 274ºas your true bearing?
Your true bearing yes. Because we count in a clockwise direction 🙂
Thank you so much
You're welcome :)
So the magnetic bearing you add is the longitude block the trig beacon is in?
You add the true bearing that is from the measuring you did, to the magnetic bearing
😂 Thanks for been helpful
Pleasure 😅
Thaa achuz ❤️
Danko 💯😂
Where did u get the magnetic declination??
Hi Thato.
The mean magnetic declination is that of the map. 🙂
Good day Sir can you please, put a link on past papers that have maps
Hi there.
You can access this link for free to download previous question papers 🙂
www.education.gov.za/Curriculum/NationalSeniorCertificate(NSC)Examinations/NSCPastExaminationpapers.aspx
Are you given the magnetic declination in every map
Yes, every map has the mean magnetic declination given. However, in most cases you will be required to calculate the magnetic declination for a specific year.
@@EverythingGeography7 thanks
Really helped alot❤❤,where u get 23 degrees from?
The 23 degrees is the mean magnetic declination of the map found/written on the map that I was using🙂
@@EverythingGeography7 thank you bro🙏🙏
You’re welcome 🙂
not me watching this while its based in my town😹💓thank you it makes sense
haha, you're welcome :)
@@EverythingGeography7 day before the paper thanks a lot mate
Why did u add 180 degrees after calculating the TB?
A straight line angle is equal to 180 degrees. Hence, 180 + the measured angle. 🙂
Trig bacon?❤😅
You’ve got jokes 😂 beacon not the one you thinking of
Hello, Do you do private tutoring?
Yes I do🙂
Email @ gabrietsolo@gmail.com or search the channel on TikTok and send me a message
Some questions ask reffering to spot heights
Yes. Remember they may ask you to find true bearing from any point on the map🙂 just follow the steps as explained
Where did the 274 go ??
Since we added 180 + 94 ...
I'm not sure if I understand the question, but the 180 is the angle from 0 degree when you measure clockwise. Plus the 94 degree measured from the 6 o'clock. SO 180 + 94 gives you 274 degrees. Hope its clear
😅😅😅😅😅
😂
Isn't it 93 to 178 trig beacon
Nope. 🙂
Hello sir l need an online tuition

tru berri trig bacon
👀
This is easy but confusing
😂 what’s confusing you?
@@EverythingGeography7 the way you explain it and the way my teacher explains its different now I'm confused and don't really know which one to follow
@rooneykwami4820 😂 you’re the first person to be confused. So I don’t know if it’s me or your teacher who’s confusing you. Or you confusing yourself. But you will never go wrong with what’s here🙂
WHY DID YOU ADD 94 TO 180?
Straight line angle = 180 + the angle measured in the third quadrant = 94
IS not 86 degree i can see that 4 degree 90-86=4@@EverythingGeography7
@mohamadkhatib8624 you must count clockwise from 0 o’clock. Do not be confused
@@EverythingGeography7 I got it sir
Nice 😉
Sorry sir u made an error.IF THE ANGLE FALLS ON THE LEFT,TAKE THE INSIDE READING OF THE PROTRACTOR AND SUBTRACT FROM 360.WHEN THE ANGLE FALLS ON THE RIGHT, TAKE THE OUTSIDE READING OF THE PROTRACTOR AND LEAVE IT AS IT IS.
😂 there’s no error there. We still getting the same answer with your method.
@@EverythingGeography7 I didn't understand the way u explained 🤞
@Mthombeni12 well you’re the first person not to understand. We measure angles clockwise in geography not the other way around. It’s not about which side the angle falls in. Do not complicate it, a straight line angle equals 180. Then you measure the angle from 180 and add that to your straight line angle. 180+the angle=answer
Thank you so much ❤❤ I understand now, I have my mapwork test tomorrow, wish me luck 🤞 🫠🫠🫠
Practice practice more🙂 and all the best😉
😂 Thanks for been helpful

I'm not sure if I understand your question but you need first to understand how to calculate magnetic declination for you to understand magnetic bearing. Please go watch my video on magnetic declination. 🤗
