I am a big thriller/crime girlie and I was so disappointed by the Housemaid and I think it is because people hyped it so much and it is just not that good…
yeah it was very flat for me, felt very cookie-cutter. think it got hyped loads on booktok and then people who aren’t really thriller/crime girlies read it, and ended up rating it highly as they haven’t read much of the genre. don’t think i’ll be continuing the series !!
