I know you do this for youtube, but girl, it seems so overwhelming. The size of your collection and the pressure to use it would take the enjoyment out of pampering myself. I own no more than 30 at one time. I buy the spray and lotion in most cases. The body wash if I really love it. Individual pieces during the semi events. I keep a few at my office (sometimes buying the candle to match and often buying a wall flower). I switch around, but I switch around my candles/wallflowers daily too. I only allow myself to own a handful of perfumes at once as well. Admittedly. I'd probably enjoy "playing" and looking at them, but I'd definitely feel stressed. I won't lie, I did have to tell myself "no" a few times on the way home. That 40% off was calling my name on candle holders and wall flowers, but I resisted. Summer is my weak spot, so I'm taking a break for now. If they don't bring back my pink watermelon blast and firecracker pop, I may protest. :)
I appreciate all the hard work you put into making videos like this, 💜and it does inspire me to use my collection, especially the body creams. I can’t wait to see your progress. You got this Shaughnessy!🤗
You might know that, cuz you're the Use It Up Queen, but this winter I got rid of some 'turning' creams using them in-shower and PRE SHOWER, like the Dove ones. I'd just slather my body and prep my hair, or brush my teeth, etc and then hop in the shower. Honestly I felt a great difference on the softness of my skin ❤ For perfumes besides overspraying 🤭 I also spray on top on my body cream BEFORE putting it on (while its on my hand), it helps tremendously on lasting power of the perfume - not on projecting tho - and also helps on getting rid of the perfume hahahha. I follow with more perfume on my body. Hope it helps! I cannot wait to see all the layering ideas you'll come up. 🎉🎉
Made this descision for myself this year: max 10 body sprays, max 20 perfumes. If I want something else, I'm going to have to sell or use up one first. It's plentyyy for a normal working woman. Thank god I don't care too much about lotion. I have 3 or so

Mist pillows at bedtime At my best I got thru 8-12 creams per month-- depending on how full they were. Semi lazy but determined, 2 full and 3 partial more than half. You got this. I have bodycream from 2017 that I am using up this year. 8 in total. The first one was Tutti Dolce golden praline and honey. Smelled a little off but not too bad. I used in on my feet then put socks on so I would not notice the difference. The Second and Third one are Champagne Apples and Honey both from 2017. They smell fantastic still using them on my feet twice a day. Morning and Night. I have used them to polish the outdoor furniture. It worked fine. Gave it a nice sheen. Decided to use my Tutti Dolce bodywash and fine fragrance mist and I went ham on the FFM. I’m regretting it as it still smell fantastic and I will never get it again. Switched over to Christmas Cookie to use with the bodywash and it just does not have the same longevity as the Tutti Dolce FFM.
My La Vie Est Belle started separating last week and my body was had a froth mark. I used them but would "save" them for travel or special events. Now I am on a project use it up to layer with my lotion and perfume. My coworkers are gonna get sick of La Vie Est Belle. But I quite enjoy so I will be happy!
I realized I can give away a scent for Christmas, birthdays, or Mother’s Day, to my mom, mother in law, grand mother in law, aunts, 2 sister in laws, good friends, kids teachers, leave some at church bathroom, give to pastors wife when ever I backed up a product and then got sick of it after finishing first one! I’d rather have it out of my collection and I really don’t care if someone else doesn’t love it or use it, that’s on them! I gave generously and I feel less stressed to use a scent I’m not digging anymore! I also think with the summertime, I might try taking two showers a day sometimes if I don’t have a lot going on to use more products! Sounds crazy!
Oh my--seeing how much you have in your project use it up is stressing Me Out I can just imagine how you feel! Good luck on this project. I have VS Santorini and Capri Leaves and they are in my summer use it up too. Will be sad to see them go --true gems.
@@bnunya8540 I called a groomer first and they said it’s no different as the sprays you buy for dogs as cologne. I have 4 house dogs and they are all perfectly healthy, but thank you for your concern.
@@wendyguthrie1099 My dogs’ veterinarian (animal DR= more qualified than an animal butthole hair shaver) said that studies have found that home scented products such at wall flowers and plug ins, home scented sprays, heavily fragranced burning candles and incense, and any sort of fragrances sprays being put on your dog(these being the worse) is horrible for their health. Some are even being linked to causing serious neurological damage to the pets. But hey at least your fur baby smells like bath and body works champagne toast right? ✌🏽
I also have a ridiculously huge collection. I went on a body care no buy for all of 2022. I took that time to use up all of my body creams, and haven't bought one since. I was glad to see all the creams gone out of my collection. I only buy the lotions of things I love now, and no doubles. I have only bought 4 sets of body care so far this year.
You have some good scents from a couple of years back in your collection! I wish I could have gotten my hands on the blueberry scent when it came out. I started collecting heavily in 2021. I had some bath and body works in my teenage years as well but I wasn’t as into them as I have been the past few years. I also want to start trying more of the VS scents. Great project use it up video! I also need to use up a lot of my body lotions before they turn. 💜💜💜
I commend you for your zeal! I think you'll be able to get those creams out of the way especially if you use them as hand creams as well. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this - I know how hard it must have been to go through your collections. You have inspired me to do the same. Good luck with your use it up project!
The best tip I have for using up body cream or lotion is ....just done with it or have had it a while...just put it into the fabric softener and add water for consistency. I use the Method container-perfect for adding and shaking it up. I haven’t had to buy any for years because I find myself adding to it at least a little every week. Sometimes just from the point of cutting up the cream container. Perfect is last part of lotion. Add a little water, shake and pour...a little more water shake and add= cleans the lotion container, ready for recycling 😊 Side note: takes quite a while for creams to go bad for me. Only happened a couple of times...guessing because: not being transported in super hot climate and I store collection in cool and dark until on deck for use within the month.
Oh, I agree with u about VS bringing bk that candy/sweet line & the line that had Midnight Ivy. Just mentioned this in one of Boho Guru's videos just today!
Sheesh… I honestly stopped buying the body cream and lotions from bath & body and Victoria secret because of this reason.. I just used my reg lotion and layer from There… but you’re video is inspiring I have so much body spray it’s so hard to used them all lol… great video as always
130+ is a lot but I believe you can get through the creams given the duration. I need to gather my products to use up for the summer but I think I only have 10 -12, then about the same left in my collection 😂 I workout so I run through a lot since I take two or three showers daily. I do however pair all of mine with shea butter since I get dry quick. Thank you for the motivation sis 💜
Out of curiosity Shaughnessy, how many body creams do you tend to keep in rotation at the same time? If I use the same one every day I can usually finish it within 2 weeks.
Hi! I have a few of the sets u have in project use up but only one set is in my use it up! I know u can get through most of these items. Personally I'd be quite overwhelmed! Looking forward to what u can use up! U got this! Tfs!
That's a lot but you got this. I have put myself on a no buy for B&BW body cream, because of them going bad so quickly, I am working thru a Vanilla Bean Noel, Sweater Weather and Pumpkin pecan waffles, hopefully, they will be done soon so I can pull out more to get thru. I prefer the body creams to the lotion, I use them on my feet, as hand creams and layer over body oils
I agree with what you said about having so much to get thru. I have body creams going bad that I'm prioritizing using by the end of this year. It's a shame cause the body creams go back to 2019,2020, 2021. 😵💫For the spring I'm using up pink chiffon, rose water meringue, fiji sunshine guavatini, malibu heat, honey wildflower. Whew! I've been on a no buy since 2022 because i really want to get rid of my older scents before buying new ones. Good luck on your use it up you have a beautiful collection!🪷🌷🌼🌻🪻
I really love this I need to do the same thing, you know what? now I remember bath and body works did send out that sunset mimosa Box they never sent me one the only reason I remember feeling some type of way about it is because they sent 1 to everybody and we were all in the same circles I was subbed to them they were subbed to me and everybody got 1 but me. I was trying to figure that out I did end up buying my own sunset mimosa and I ended up liking it because some of them didn't even keep it they declutterd, it they gave it away Et cetera.
I'm back to using BBW products. My stuff is newer. I didn't know that the body creams turned bad. I have time on my side to use them. Good luck using everything. I can't imagine how much time it's going to take to use everything.
I had to throw out many body creams. I tried to use them after they turned yellow but, I my skin was itching so bad! I will be buying anymore BBW body creams..never again.
Thank God I don't have alot of Lotions or body cream. I actually prefer the Lotions over the creams and they last longer to me. I currently have 4 body creams that are are fairly new. I find they clash with my perfumes so I'm having a hard time using them
I would stick to not purchasing a lot of body creams from B&BW. Some last but since they have been messing with the formula, I find that they don’t last a long as they used to.
Girl all that stuff! You gonna have to set an alarm for every 45 seconds to spray and apply lotion 😂
