I didn’t read much during June. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was released, and the incredible trailer for Doom: The Dark Ages was revealed so I spend a lot of my free time replaying Elden Ring and Doom. However, I did read The Pariah by Anthony Ryan (very mixed feelings on this, I’ll give book 2 a shot to see if that helps how I feel at all), Mort by Terry Pratchett (this was my first read in the Discworld series, and it was an absolute joy), and Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie (another 5 out of 5 from Abercrombie. It’s Kill Bill meets The First Law and while it’s very different from the initial trilogy, it’s just as good).
So I have to admit, I enjoyed making this more than I should have, but never again!!! 🥲😅
