This week has been insane!
I’ve always thought it would be interesting to test the entire field before and after just to see. Or pull samples from the entire field but randomly select and it you fail they test all your samples.
What about Hudson in the Rumley car
I think Hudson just had a belly full of Mark Richards no different than anyone else quiting a job with a boss they dont like even if they dont have another job lined up

To me it feels like Rocket has a problem with commitment. Shepard is one hell of a driver. And, it seems like to me that they have NO SUPPORT. My 2 cents.
not mentioned….the many MANY races that Oneal ran the tires off of his car because he goes full boar and wants to lead every single lap. Meanwhile Mr. Thornton and Mr. Pierce paced themselves race after race, let others get tv time to give the impression that the series was competitive before turning it on…and blowing everyone out…in the last 15-20 % of the race. Watch what McCredie does….juuust watch.
Don't forget Bobby got busted in 2018 too...
The testing process is sound. A 1 gram fragmented sample of the tire is placed in a heated compartment (300°C ), in which a single adsorbent-coated fibre is suspended (PDMS). Volatile compounds, such as those in softening treatments, leave the tire sample at an appropriate temperature (280°C) and preferentially bind the coated fibre. Gas chromatography (hydrogen) separates the compounds on the fibre before they are analysed with mass spectrometry and compared with a catalogue of spectra (FTIR) analyzed illegal tire treatments, detergents and other known chemicals.
People formulate opinions without understanding of the science. (Like always)
There are problems or room for improvement concerning the process.
1) tires should only be compared to a baseline sample from the batch or same date of MFG.
2) The same lab cannot Test all three samples. The second sample should be sent to a lab of the teams/drivers choosing. The third sample should be sent to a pool of independent labs not partnered or associated with the Series.
3) A sample of the track should always be taken for comparative data of any possible contaminates regardless of how many tires samples are collected.
4) Security, tracking and transparency of the samples collected must be improved and handled by a third party.
As far as believing the drivers, it’s incredibly naive and gullible with an adolescent perception of the real world, competition and human nature. It’s also a product of para-social relationships where we foolishly believe we “know” a person, their character or their possible behavior based on what little we see from a distance. Of course these guys are going to be emotional as they have just had their careers threatened, their name tarnished, and reputation damaged. This is especially true for Bobby as it’s a reflection on his family name / prestige. Wanting to believe the position is a natural flaw that prevents rational thought. This is amplified by those whom are untrusting of the governing body or process, fail to look at the facts or data, and have zero understanding of the science and chemistry behind the testing process. Those people cannot make a rational or educated opinion. This is a common issue today thanks to the internet. People are also gravitating to any erroneous conspiracy even if it makes zero sense. Just look at the comments on this video alone. One guy claims Huddy is leaving because Richards is tire doping 🤪 . It’s insanity!
Mark is a KING maker. He can take any naturally talented local/regional driver and win championships. Even a teenager ( as we’ve seen before) Naming the current top tier elite drivers is a product of this common delusion that these drivers are more talented or experienced then other National drivers which is categorically false. The media helps spread this erroneous narrative. Signing one of these drivers would certainly be the easiest way to recover on such a short time period however it’s NOT necessary what’s best for the sport. There’s local drivers with 100’s of wins across multiple tracks and even some with such credentials whom beat that rocket house car head to head in outlaw races during their dominate session. Unfortunately it will be an established name or dinosaur currently with plenty of resources.
T Mac is a likely probability but man.. That combo would have been fire in 2008 but it’s time to introduce new talent into these series.
Make is a king maker. He can take any Naturally talented driver... Well if they wasn't bringing natural talent MARK couldn't be that king maker.. This is just a touring series to watch for us. It's business for MARK. Not picking a driver because of age or because they have established their place in racing don't make any sense. Just get a puppy dog kid that has daddy's money or some old man's sponsorship not proven they can establish they can hammer it out with the best in the world night after night week after week month after month year after year.... Age or because this one time they put on a show or run up front or beat whoever you consider top shelf.. Just doesn't sound like a reasonable idea.. Bobby pierce is the best driver in the world and definitely ain't messing with tires 😂
Bloomquist dominated for years with a Skelton crew and a bunch of random flunkies. I’m not that impressed with rocket1 team, they should 100% be the best team. They’ve got all the help in the world and big $$$ sponsors. These loud mouths love to stroke the egos of dirt racings who’s who instead of actually having there own opinion and being real….
Oh come on Rigsby. Rocket 1 the GOAT team in DLM history? During the vast majority of their championship seasons they weren't the #1 team in the country, they were getting their ass kicked by zero cars.

It’s still not cheating to with in the gray area or between the lines. Chemical Tire treatments of any kind are duly listed under the rules as illegal contraband. It’s black and white and has been for decades.

That’s a deranged and stupendous comment that’s void of any factual basis or the sentiment coming from insiders. This theory is beyond rational and is certainly derived from a lack critical thinking and even understanding of the industry. It certainly doesn’t align with what we know from the ticket house car or any known history of credible accusations. This comment represents the Tin foil hat gullibility and ignorance that plagues the internet by giving anyone without the cognitive assets, core knowledge or common sense required express an opinion on the topic or contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way.

Racing has always been about pushing the envelope ...right up to getting caught. LOL! Be careful what you wish for. If you want absolute parity among the cars you might as well watch that Gawd-awful SHAMCAR with drivers driving around at half throttle to save fuel (according to Kyle Busch) and riding around 2 or 3 abreast for 99.5% of the laps until the last half lap until they run over each other to see who's lucky enough to reach the finish line first. That type of racing makes driver skill, horsepower and race strategy completely irrelevant.
