I commend Placebo as much as Muse; I got definitely inspired by both of them and they caught the widest rate of my music overview by those awesome and flawless tunes, no one might make an akin merger again; the most considerable effort is rooted into their skills to blend rock and electronic elements in the most suitable way ever, where even a mistake may sink the whole combination. I mean that's around that awesomeness that a chunk of my taste hovers, I'm grasping the feeling and the kind of message they spread in their music gradually and I don't know if I'm becoming addicted to alt.rock or if this unmotivated love may turn out a stupid affection. I hope I'll be fulfilled and reciprocated by the allegiance I serve but I fear they're running into the dark side of the best bands in the world, aka they recently varied their music to make it get closer to commercial streams and to involve a flock of teenagers while their fondest fans (likely over 20 years old as me) can't stand a sort of change with a personal aim, with the sudden need to run up castles of money and to step up sales. This couldn't be worthwhile and it looks an outrage at someone's eyes, a kind of betrayal because you can't shun triggering that heap of banknotes. When you act so you quit the sheer and earnest target you got started for and literally you die. Anyone with the same opinion as above? Am I so wacky?
Your tirade feels like you wrote something down on a piece of paper and then went out of the way to find the most poetic words to express something, which, if I understand correctly, could be put into simple 'I like their music, but find their last album too youth-targeted or commercial'. Being not of English mother-tongue, I am really struggling to make sense of your sentences and even think that you as well might be a foreigner.
Either way, I have to say that a couple of their songs from the last album are a bit too 'young' for me.
I concur about the fact some of the newer songs are too young, they don't tally with this age and the real connotation this band is supposed to own. What are you struggling for whilst reading my quote? I'll be more direct and I'll use the easiest way without any philosophic speech!
