I owe one. Well packed diesel car for city driving. Mentioned mailage figures are true for city driving. You will love this car if you stop hating diesel. For no reason!

Is there any real time delay we experienced while shifting gears and does iMT decreases the milage campared to Manual in Diesel,
Experienced drivers will certainly not be able to shift gears in the iMT as fast as they would be able to in an equivalent MT. But the delay is not noticeable if you drive sedately.
We have not tested the Seltos Diesel MT after the engines were made BS6 Phase 2 compliant so we do not have representative data right now. Will update as soon as we do.
What about reliability of this transmission?? In long run like 5 years downline.
The iMT system is quite simple, chances of failures are very low. We haven't heard of any reliability issues with the gearbox
Is the imt available in the higher HTX and HTX+ variants because the manual has been discontinued
IMT is available across all variant in Diesel
All variants in diesel comes with imt transmission

kia is not providing manual transmission in diesel seltos, don't.know why??
Most probably because the company does not see as much demand for the diesel-MT combo for the Seltos from customers. The iMT offers more convenience without robbing too much away in terms of the feeling of control
