Fun fact: this episode broke the internet back in 2019! It was trending on Twitter for days, boosted its manga sell that it brief outsold One Piece, and even became instant classic moment for anime. Even better the creator herself cried during this scene and rewatch 20 more times

Not brief outsold One Piece. Demon Slayer topped One Piece in sales in 2020. It wasn't like for the week or month. It was the whole year.
@@ianluzdub Bruh. OP has been running for about 25 years now. One year is just a blink in the lifespan of OP. Besides, its not like people make statistics on a weekly basis, manga sales statistics are done on a yearly basis. And the manga outselling OP was in back issues, which are manga volumes that were already sold. People came back for it when anime became a hit. OP has regular readers, so it doesn't have any necessary reason for people to come for back issues, not to mention the back issues are more than a hundred volumes. OP will reach its climax in about 5 years now. When it ends, there will be some phenomal increases in its sales and I doubt any manga can break those records anytime.

To clarify, Tanjiro had already learned the Hinokami Kagura dance from his dad at some point during his childhood, hence the reason he inherited the Hanafuda earrings. He had forgotten about it after many years, but in this moment with his life flashing before his eyes, he recalled it and thought to try to incoroporate that breathing technique into his swordsmanship. Its like Shinobu previously mentioned; "using memories to avoid death."

Fun fact: Nezuko's blood demon art is that her blood can catch on fire, and what's more, this fire can only hurt demons and anything demon related.
As you've seen, when the 12 Kizuki allowed Tanjiro to bring his blade to the 12 Kizuki's neck, Tanjiro couldn't cut it. Even with the Hinokami Kagura dance, Tanjiro wouldn't be able to cut his head. However, since some of Nezuko's blood splatter are on Tanjiro's blade, that allowed him to cut through the 12 Kizuki's neck.

When your life flash before your eyes as you are about to die. You try to find a way out using your past experiences and memories.
So Tanjiro was that close to dying.

When i first decided to watch demon slayer, i thought it would be a trash generic anime but once I doved deep into it, I feel in love. Episode 19 is by far my favorite, it gives me chills everytime I watch it

This episode is what blew up DS and separated it from other Shonin; even w/a more basic story. A simple story w/well written characters, fully committed voice actors and top tier animation can compete w/any other anime w/more complex story lines.

Some says it's Tengen vs Uzui, some says it's s4ep8, few says Akaza vs Rengoku, me, this one, a complete package, this is my most favorite episode of KnY, as Manga reader when this ep was released, it caught me off guard, bro those goosebumps I still have it each time I watch that part.
