I've just reached the end of the first earflap and I can't believe how easy and totally cute this is 😮😁 ive never made a hat before and wanted to make something for a baby shower on the 26th of this month. I just thought I'd try it with some random wool and its soooo adorable so far lol. I hope to do the booties too 💜 but I will definitely be getting some softer wool though. Thank you 💜
Awe that's great, I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the tutorial so far! 👏 I'm sure you'll get a lot of compliments at the baby shower with your handmade gifts! 🤗💝

I had some baby yarn left over from a blanket and was looking for a new project. Coincidentally, I had exactly the same yarn left over as you are using here! Very cute hat. I will start the shoes soon. Easy to follow. Thank you!
That was lucky! 👏 Thank you, I'm glad that you like the design! I hope you enjoy making both the hat and booties 😘
@@MaisieandRuth loved making both! Next into the hoodie but need to order the yarn first! Thanks for your amazing tutorials.
Super cute
Thanks! 🤗💕
Πολύ ωραίο!!!! μπράβο σας!!!
Σε ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ! 💕
I like it🤗
Thank you! 🥰
Wonderfull thanks ❤
You're very welcome! Glad that you enjoyed the tutorial! 🥰
I absolutely love this pattern! But just a little tip for people like me who don't like weaving in the ends. Before you start the second earflap finish the string. That way you will only have to weave in one end instead of three. ❤️
Thank you, Marketa! 🥰👏
Love u work
Thank you so much! 🥰
I'm glad you exist and I'm glad you make such beautiful videos. But it's even better if you add a Mongolian subtitle. Good luck in everything😍🥰🔥🇲🇳
Hi! I absolutely love your work. I was wondering what would you recommend to do if I’m looking to make a bigger size. Like for a 8months old baby.
شما فوق العاده هستی وبهترین روش آموزش را ارائه می دهید .سپاسگزارم🙏😘💐🌹👏👏👏👏💖🌹از ایران
Thank you so much for these gorgeous patterns. The booties turned out so lovely. My hat though turned out like a bowl with a flat top and I’m wondering what I did wrong 😂 I am a beginner
You're very welcome! 😃 I'm so pleased that you're happy with the booties 👏 Regarding the hat, are you counting your stitches at the end of each round? Is the gauge correct (it should measure a certain diameter after round 4 - see this in the free pattern): maisieandruth.com/crochet-baby-bear-beanie-free-pattern/ 💝
Thank you for your reply so quickly. I did measure and it was 4 inches however I don’t remember counting my stitches religiously 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. I am going to try the hat again and this time I will count at the end of each row 😁😁
@@elizabethbranthwaite7067 Hats also look like bowls, you likely did nothing wrong. It gets rounded by the wearer‘s round head, don‘t worry. On the upside, you can convert any hat pattern into a utensilo/yarn bowl/round bag by scaling up the yarn and hook and changing nothing else. 😃
Thank you for the tutorial! Is it possible to make it for a 1 year old? If so how can I make it bigger? ❤
Great easy pattern! Question though, how do I increase the size?
Thank you for your wonderful tutorials, the only thing I've ever crocheted is a granny blanket and now I've completed this set. The only thing missing are some mits. Any chance of adding some to this set?
You're very welcome, Linda... I'm so pleased that you like this little set! 🥰 Good suggestion, I'll look into this for you 👍
Good thanks c
You're very welcome! 😃
Hi Maisie! I am thinking to make this for my baby however I was hoping I can make her a 1 yr old size so she can wear it for awhile(: Can you advise for a pattern of 6-9mths ? Would really appreciate it! Thank you Soo much for sharing your beautiful designs😍
I made this hat for my 1-year-old. Take 10hdc for the first round. Round 2 increase. Round 3 increase. Round 4 increase. Now you have 40hdc. Make 6 rounds with 40hdc. Then go for earcuff. Hope this helps
@@aakankshathakrewhat does it mean to increase?
@serayagranger4729
1st round - 10hdc
2nd round - 2hdc * 10times
3rd round - (1hdc, 2hdc) * 10times
4th round - (1hdc, 1hdc, 2hdc) * 10times
Now you will have 40hdc
Continue for the next 6 rounds with 40hdc, followed by earcuffs.
،what a good video I have a great benefit..you are a good teacher ..and have a calm voice..please put the various measurements in a schedule through the video not in description box... because I can't find it...thank you too much...egypt👍🌹❤️💐💚
Can you please do a video on baby turban will be very kind of you 😊

I love this pattern! I’ve already made the matching booties but my hat needs work 😅 The ends that get weaved in keep unraveling and it doesn’t look right. What am i doing wrong 😫
🌹 Oh wow i love this ☺ New subscriber☺ Stay safe and keep well🌹 May
Thanks so much for subscribing, May! 👏 Enjoy working this up! 💝
I just finished it and it is so cute! However, the hat is wayyy too tall. Any recommendations on what I should do? Can I fix it?
I love this hat 🥰but I don't understand why I've tried to make a newborn size but somehow I have a 3-6 months size. I followed all the instructions and did it twice. 🤔
Hello I have some Bernard baby blanket yarn but it’s super bulky would this be too thick please ? Thank you!
Hi! I'm not sure how to weave in the ends for the flaps
hola masie saludos desde ECUAADOR
Currently making this for my SIL. When I measured mine its 3.5in not 4. I'm using a 6mm hook, and have been counting my stitches at the end of each round. Where did I go wrong?
Would this work for a new born? I have yarn that I thought I was gonna use for a blanket for my new daughter but wasn't soft enough
Hi can i use super.bulky yarn number 6. For a new born or 0-3months
Hi there i realy enjoy your tutorials I would like to ask permesion to use your videos on my channel i noticed its cc 😊
Hi can you use dk yarn too for this hat? X
I have 3.5 year old baby , what crochet hook i should use?
If i want to use a thinner pattern do i have to make more stiches?
Hi I love this pattern I have a size 6 yarn am I still able to make this pattern? What hook shall I use?
6mm
Hi Maisie ..
Can I make this hat for my 1 year old nephew? Will it fit him properly?
can you do 3 to 6 ty
How to make this for older kids /adults?
Hallo! I'd love to make these baby stuff depend on this your video tutorial. Thanks so much. Btw, if I using another type of yarn, is that will be different on the result?
oh ya, I planned to use rainbow cotton yarn. Is it possible?
I love this made one for my grandson. But now I have a niece age 4 who wants one. Is there a number I can start with.
Would this work with not chunky yarn?
Nice video ma.. Ma pls I have a question, can I use our best Nigeria acrylic yarn, 3 strands. Probably combine it with extra 3 strands to make it total of 6 strands to make this baby hat?
Thank you! I am not familiar with this brand of yarn. You could try using it. For the newborn size make sure that your work measures 4" (10cm) after round 4 before continuing with the pattern 💕
You are fantastic!!! I Hope I can make your models. I'd like to make the jacket and the hat with ears but I’m afraid they are too difficult for me!
Can you also put the instructions written and easily translated into Italian? Thanks so much🥰
Where can I buy this yarn?
Thank you so much, Rosanna! 🥰 Please give the jacket and hat a go - they're much easier than they look! (you can also slow down the speed of the videos even further). I put subtitles on all of my videos, including Italian, so please remember to turn them on! Have a lovely week 💝
You can find all the links to purchase the materials used in the description box below the video 🎀
❤❤
Thank you 🥰
Is there a pattern to make this for a toddler?
🎉
I’m trying to make it but mine ALWAYS starts to curve And I get tiny hats, I don’t know what I am doing wrong
What size are you making in the video?
Super beau bravo merci mais je veux l’âge si vous plait
So the number of first stitch tells how big is the hat eg 9 then let’s say 12
