Many countries have good marches and it is impossible to choose the best. They are all different, for example, "Farewell of Slavianka", a very sad march, Preobrazhensky March, very solemn, March of 108th Saratov Infantry regiment, very cheerful and joyful. This is an example of Russian marches.
Battotai, Rákóczi and Farewell of Slavianka are the best IMO.
The north korean one is so soviet
That's probably because North Korea was and still is a communist state and was heavily influenced by Soviet Russia

The Battotai March surprisingly has a kind of Hungarian feel to it. I can hear the "verbunk" in it.

@@Kaiserr1871 The eponymous Battotai were Japanese paramilitaries. The tune for the march was composed by French Army officer Charles Leroux for the Japanese Army around 1885. It was the first Western-style military march performed in Japan, but wasn't too popular prior to WWII.
Guys If you see around this 3:29 to 3:33, USA scene, when they were about to separate the march by two, I don't want to be rude, but these two guys were about to go in the wrong way....

Our cadence caller used to really put some jazz into it which got us into trouble but we thought she was a genius to come up with a better beat.

The (his personal) order doesn't matter, he calls an Prussian March, shown by East-German soldiers on the cover an Russian March. My point was, that when you du such a video, you should know a bit about uniforms and most importantly about language. So if the viewer comments, first one was awesome, he means the 1 march, so the german one. And this is not Russian. 😐

You should hear Serbian march called Mars na Drinu (March on Drina River) and Serbian military march steps are more difficult to perform, but to me most beautiful.

Deutsches Kaiserreich is NOT the same as DDR. The mislabeling first slide makes one question. Of course it is not unlikely for the DDR military to play an old song from the Empire, but it was startling.
