I loved this drama because it promoted eating and contrasted bok joo and her friends vs the gymnasts who were starving themselves! It really made me see food and eatinng differently. I really felt guilty whenever eating but kim bok joo changed it!!! 😋
They're weightlifters, that's a whole other thing. XD you shouldn't feel guilty when you eat though, as long as you aren't binge eating which isn't good for you. (But I'm guilty myself, sometimes I binge eat and sometimes I try to eat a good portion. 😅)

If so, they couldn't hire an actual "fat bitch" and instead hired a "skinny bitch" and made her wear/gussied her up in a couple layers of thick clothes to simulate her bulk and size, like every drama from the 90s in America re: Dog Fight 1992. Also, in this dimension "gymnasts" starve themselves? I'm assuming "gymnast" means much like "professional ballet dancer" means in kdramas, twirling around a tiny bit in a tutu and looking pretty for the camera. Non of that acttual gymnastics shit, hard work, training, diet and physical/mental exercise...r they rhythmic gymnasts???

However many takes...from however many angles they have to shoot, you know they were constantly spitting out their half chewed food, RARELY swallowing. Let's all continue to suspend our disbelief.

Lee sung kyung did say in a interview that she never eats anything fun or salty, because of her modeling career. So having this role must have been really fun for her, however she did feel bad about her weight and looks throughout the film because of the stretch marks. BUT!! She said that role for this film was has boost her self confidence and accept her imperfections. Ofcourse she did lose all the weight and got back to her thin and healthy frame for her career and new Doctor film
