@@itsFuckinKojot You can, but unless you want to waste precious time violently pulling out an En Bloc clip while in a combat zone I don't see why you wouldn't just fire the last few rounds at an enemy instead.
Underbarrel > less prone to jam magazine but inaccurate as fuck Magazine > More accurate but can easily jam magazine during sustained fire They held it both ways during the War
I like how there's two 'ping' sounds for the Garand. The first time is when the clip jumps out of the gun, and the second time is when the clip hits the ground.
8:25 always a pet peeve of mine when games do this. You can’t pull the bolt back when you’re still aiming down sight, the only one you can do that with is a British 303 because of the short bolt
Where did you hear about this? I own an M1903A3 and I can easily operate the bolt while still aiming and maintaining cheek weld and stock-to-shoulder. The bolt absolutely doesn't go back far enough to hit my face or otherwise stop me from pulling the bolt back while aiming. Granted I don't have a giraffe neck. Maybe this would happen if your face was super close to the sight, but in that case you can just move your head back a little bit (which is presumably what the soldier in the animation does, since he breaks his sight picture).
This is ignorant on many levels. First you don’t consider the person hoe long their arms are, and how they hold the firearm and whether their face is closer or further from the bolt. In my personal case I can work a Karabiner98k bolt while maintaining sight, it comes close but barely reaches my eye and face, as the other dude said with M1903, that is effectively a close copy of the Mauser design and thus may have the same practicalities of not hitting once’s face Secondly, you ignore the stock, as mentioned beforehand the persons body and size affect that but so does a stock, a short stock and a long bolt Andre not going the be workable while maintaining sight, but given a long enough stock, short enough bolt, or both combined, it can be done. Short bolt does not equal to ability to maintain sights while working bolt, if the stock is too short, it’ll hit your face regardless.
The fact that the player middle fingers the no.4 but not the no.4T is so cool and such a nice detail even if it's a little unrealistic that everyone middle fingers it

COMMIE HUNTER personally I’m surprised that no-one else noticed the fact that almost nothing needs to be paid for with real money, since you can buy almost everything with in game currency.
My Opinion About Post Scriptum's Reloads : I would rather say that post scriptums's reload are. . ..... stiff like so stiff that if you insert a bullet in the gun in one of the reloads is enough to cause camera shake for example like in 9:10
what is this? are you not comparing an arcade game with a mil-sim? REEEEEEE! no, but for real, I agree. I really enjoy both games. BFV has some great stuff that goes unnoticed and I hope makes it into the next BF game.
@@demonjmh The slot where it holds the bolt handle is too long to be able to just slap it like that. Reduce the speed of the video and you'll see the handle going straight through that bit of metal.
The "abruptness" of these animations really do the game a service, but some of the "return to idle" speeds are almost so fast it looks like they're skipping around, like frames are outright missing. The FG42 (at around 14:30) has a pretty noticeable "skip" where the reload animation ends and it starts to play the idle sway again. The Lebel bolt "quirk" at 9:50 is also pretty neat to see.
Getting real annoyed when reloading and you see the reload animation finish reloading but for some you have to wait an extra second afterwards for it to actually reload the gun.
Normally, the bolt catch would make this impossible. Pretty sure it's just an oversight though. If you were to slap the bolt from front to back, it might work.
Thomson empty reload is wrong. The last round leaves the bolt closed, but the gun fires from an open bolt, so you would need to pull the charging handle back. The tactical reload is fine bc the bolt should already be back
Only problems I could find closing inspecting the m1903a3 animations were 1. It is not that easy to just flick the stripper clip out like that 2. for each shot when the bolt opens and reveals the mag its empty yet it has ammo 3. only minor the firing pin seems to extend a bit too far when cocked

Underbarrel > less prone to jam magazine but inaccurate as fuck
Magazine > More accurate but can easily jam magazine during sustained fire
They held it both ways during the War
I like how there's two 'ping' sounds for the Garand. The first time is when the clip jumps out of the gun, and the second time is when the clip hits the ground.

Wow, probably best reload animations in WW2 game ever.
This is game, not real life
This is ignorant on many levels.
First you don’t consider the person hoe long their arms are, and how they hold the firearm and whether their face is closer or further from the bolt.
In my personal case I can work a Karabiner98k bolt while maintaining sight, it comes close but barely reaches my eye and face, as the other dude said with M1903, that is effectively a close copy of the Mauser design and thus may have the same practicalities of not hitting once’s face
Secondly, you ignore the stock, as mentioned beforehand the persons body and size affect that but so does a stock, a short stock and a long bolt Andre not going the be workable while maintaining sight, but given a long enough stock, short enough bolt, or both combined, it can be done. Short bolt does not equal to ability to maintain sights while working bolt, if the stock is too short, it’ll hit your face regardless.
Yep, definitely Squad, just in WW2. Damn, the milsim vibe is just amazing!
These are some of the best animations I've seen in a game
The fact that the player middle fingers the no.4 but not the no.4T is so cool and such a nice detail even if it's a little unrealistic that everyone middle fingers it
Something i noticed us that the handguns were all shot with two hands which is not how any of them are shot
Wow the animations are so freaking nice ! I'm considering buying this game :) is the player base still decent ??
Yes it's still got a lot of full servers.
It's so smooth.. Also I am sure there's a "better than Battlefield and Better than CoD" comments somewhere.
Look my comment and you will find it!
@@Freedomlander_101 I did. I emptied a popcorn bucket with Wilhelm here
@@Freedomlander_101 Personality I don't hate BFV nor Call of Duty WW2. I will say it's sucks only if I got to try myself. But yeah. It's unforgivable what EA did to that game.
@@bushmonsterwilhelm6716 get this, i used to be a Battlefield Fan before but after the Battlefield V disaster, i lost all expectations for the Battlefield Franchise, i dont hate the game and i dont pretend to sound nitpicky, but we should expected more from a Triple A company like EA and DICE to give us their WW2 experience, instead we get a Barebones Battlefield that doesn't even look like a WW2 game at all, it can be described as perhaps the most Controversial Battlefield to date, and the lack of content oh my god.. The game will be abandoned in June 2020, meaning that we won't get the expected obvious WW2 Theaters as the Eastern front campaign, The D-Day Landings, The invasion of Sicily, The battle of Britain, The Battle of Berlin, The Invasion of France, The Pearl Harbor Attack..
Neither we will get the Factions promised such as: The Italian army or The freaking Soviet Union..
No Eastern front campaign or soviet army in a triple A WW2 game?? Excuse me?? Wtf? How?
And not only that, the campaign was also the Shortest i ever seen in a Battlefield Game, they could at least gave us epic missions like the Pearl Harbor Attack, or something but no. Instead we get this nonsensical and boring recicled "Untold War Stories"(except the last tiger which is the coolest of all)
@@Freedomlander_101 Sounds like it got less content than Battlefield 1942. It's sad how modern game company went with their route. Gone making a good game. Come the cash grabs games
That HK slap on MP40 just hit my sweet spot.
But it's doesn't make any sense, he just hit the bolt handle through a piece of metal.
@@kepofshangri-la8942 Now that you mention it..yeaaa but aren't most if not all weapons with a charging handle near the muzzle could be used to do the HK slap ? :o
@@kepofshangri-la8942 You can HK Slap the MP40 on backwards
Is it just me or do the gun sounds sound better in Post Scriptum than Hell Let Loose? They sound beefier and more realistic. On top of that the reload animations and rate of fire are more accurate than HLL.
Goddamn those explosion effects are beautiful
Best PC game I've played in a long time. Pure PC, nothing console about it.
0:24 modern animation be like
Sound design is absolutely top notch
Imagine your AAA game title having a dying fanbase while indie games using it's disappointment as an advantage.
I'd like to think that listening to your consumer isn't that hard. Evidently, it is.
Hello John
COMMIE HUNTER personally I’m surprised that no-one else noticed the fact that almost nothing needs to be paid for with real money, since you can buy almost everything with in game currency.
I feel more ww2 in this vid than bfv
Congratulations, you are beating a dead horse
Out of all Handguns in this game! My favorite of them is Mauser C96 because it basically acts as a small rifle and has low recoil at all.
My Opinion About Post Scriptum's Reloads : I would rather say that post scriptums's reload are. . ..... stiff like so stiff that if you insert a bullet in the gun in one of the reloads is enough to cause camera shake for example like in 9:10
I love how the 1911 reload portrays how scared shitless the soldier is
Prepare for the cliche “better than BFV” comments even though the games are good in their own ways.
what is this? are you not comparing an arcade game with a mil-sim? REEEEEEE!
no, but for real, I agree. I really enjoy both games. BFV has some great stuff that goes unnoticed and I hope makes it into the next BF game.
well BFV is officially a dead game
don't blame them blame EA and Dice
2:54 HK slap on an MP40 😍😍😍
Btw am I the only one who thought PS’s animation resembles that of BF3?
It looks cool, but i dont think you can do it in real life, actually you can do it but not like how the game shows it
Well considering the HK MP5 is considered the modern day MP40 this makes sense
@@demonjmh except that both guns operate on completely differerent principles, so what you said is irrelevant
@@demonjmh The slot where it holds the bolt handle is too long to be able to just slap it like that. Reduce the speed of the video and you'll see the handle going straight through that bit of metal.
@@Turgz If you slap it backwards that is. Though it would be a weird slap.
MG-26 is like ZB vz. 26, wait a minute, its just renaming right?
Yes.
Owh ok then, thought its a different weapon, thanks for the info
i love how unlike most games post scriptum uses a realistic muzzle flash, instead of the stereotypical orange flame that a lot of other games use
I love the games where they get the M1 Garand correct
What’s with the crackhead brass casings?
4:36
The "abruptness" of these animations really do the game a service, but some of the "return to idle" speeds are almost so fast it looks like they're skipping around, like frames are outright missing. The FG42 (at around 14:30) has a pretty noticeable "skip" where the reload animation ends and it starts to play the idle sway again.
The Lebel bolt "quirk" at 9:50 is also pretty neat to see.
The FG42 ain't in the official game yet. The map were it would be used is still being developed.
@@SW-pb4ch Fair enough!
Getting real annoyed when reloading and you see the reload animation finish reloading but for some you have to wait an extra second afterwards for it to actually reload the gun.
@Clutch The cinnamon sergal that's not balance
These explosions are true art
My PC couldn’t handle this game....*sigh
Those explosion effects look fucking good.
These reloads being so slow makes it quite peaceful
And more realistic
How does a reload being slow make it realistic? It shows further a lack of decent training for their issued firearms.
7.92x57 Mauser people get jittery and more likely to mess up if they go really fast. These are soldiers with basic training, not competition shooters
Those reloads are fast. In Insurgency Sandstorm there are rly slow reloads.
That MP40 reload with a HK slap caught me off guard
This guy did the HK slap on a MP40
Normally, the bolt catch would make this impossible. Pretty sure it's just an oversight though.
If you were to slap the bolt from front to back, it might work.
I love the explosions in this game
the sound, the fire rate, is very realistic
Reloads...
They're a bit innacurate at times
No one's gonna talk about how realistic the explosion kicks the ground particles?
Thomson empty reload is wrong. The last round leaves the bolt closed, but the gun fires from an open bolt, so you would need to pull the charging handle back. The tactical reload is fine bc the bolt should already be back
It has a mag hold open like semi auto pistols meaning you don't have to pull back the charging handle
This is some nice ASMR actually lol
Only problems I could find closing inspecting the m1903a3 animations were
1. It is not that easy to just flick the stripper clip out like that
2. for each shot when the bolt opens and reveals the mag its empty yet it has ammo
3. only minor the firing pin seems to extend a bit too far when cocked
Some of the bolt action guns, you can see the striker move back to the cocked position. Even battlefield suffers from this
I woke up not too long ago. That MG42 is better than coffee.
