Our pro grilles come with the garnish and insert pre-installed. You can change out the insert and get the camera bracket with this grille. If you are a heavy offroader, this is a great grille to buy.

I would like to see a install of TRD grill with front facing camera install also.
Good video, I have the front facing camera so some of the comments were very helpful. The camera wasn't sitting flush with the supplied TacoVinyl camera bracket on my install. One of the 2 alignment holes had an excess of powder coating. Run a 1/16" bit through it to clean it out. In order to get the clips for the camera shroud to engage the powder coating needed to be scraped off the back of the new mounting bracket where the clips seat. The fiddling was worth it the grill looks great!

If I have the chrome ring, can I remove it and the grille will cover that area?

I've just completed my install and while I was able to finish it I think you should really do this yourself with the front facing camera because it's not as easy as advertised. I'll premise this by saying I'm great with instructions but not improvisation which this required. The top two screws that hold the "Toyota" insert into the grill were too large to go through the camera mounting bracket and I ended up repurposing two of the eight screws that held the original grille insert in place that do not get reused. Also the cabling is slightly different and did not have enough slack in it so I had to cut both mounts it originally was mounted to, instead of just one like in the video. This ensured I wanted to make use of the additional zip tie point at the sensor but there isn't one included in the kit. This is kind of nit picky, but you could throw a zip tie in with it. Overall happy, but frustrated with the install.

Yeah, this is very frustrating. The title of the video is “full install with front facing camera”. That is not what this video shows. Don’t title the video in such a way as to mislead the viewer. Showing the camera mount with a grill that is not set up for the camera doesn’t help the end user who needs help with the install. Shame on Taco Vinyl for this.
Will this grill also fit an SR5 model?
Just got my TRD Pro grill from Taco Vinyl for my 21 Tacoma that has the smoked amber raptor lights, front facing camera bracket and sensor garnish. Hopefully the install is super easy - I am really nervous about the camera and the sensor malfunction!

@@DavyDave1313 ok cool. By chance , do you know if the OEM camera housing needed any Dremel modification to sit in the cam bracket, or did it drop right in?
It’ll drop right in but we recommend using a zip for secure it

If you watch the whole video it talk about the camera, where it goes and how to mount it. There is no physical video for the install of it. The piece we provide for the camera is a pretty easy install. Shoot us an email next time and we’d be more than happy to send you some pictures of placement for any parts we sell.
