I'm glad it came double boxed with the foam protection, specifically for the pointy headstock. A few years ago, my wife bought me a Hagstrom Fantomen for Christmas that came double boxed, but didn't have adequate foam protection for the headstock. It took four tries before I got one that wasn't badly dinged on the headstock point. Each looked like that point took all the weight after being drop kicked down the warehouse. On the fourth one, I specifically had AMS take out the guitar and re-pack it all in foam similar to how that Solar came which did the trick.

If I can make a friendly suggestion, just chill out a bit when you use vibrato man. There's no need to move that quick all the time; it'll make your leads instantly quite a bit smoother 🤘🏻 thanks for the vids!

I feel they make sure every guitar sent to you or others who do reviews are flawless. I had 2 solars and both had fret and wiring issues. My active solar would drain the battery even when the cord was out. Both cut up my hands when playing. And I had issues with my passive cutting out. Had to spend more just to get them playable and then I sold my active one. I still have the passive, but it now has black winter pickups in it and totally rewired with new pots. I really hope they are getting better for the average person. And both were A1.7s so they should have been top of the line.
I got a solar e2.6 the condition it came in was great however i have some issues with my neck pickup, sometimes when i switch to it it is really quiet and i have to switch back to my bridge and try again.
I love that body, it's like a sharper/pointier version of my Carvin/Kiesel Xcellerator bass :D Sounds incredible, too. I'm glad guitars are catching up to basses in regards to having wood exposed, I think it's a great look much of the time, too. Especially that swamp ash. Thanks for sharing!
Hell yeah! Fan-fret 6 string is awesome! And looks killer! Only wish - killswitch on low horn, Morello style of placing it, but button-style like Buckethead. Guitar is awesome!

Love this guitar (well the 7 string)! Can't afford one though so I got a Jackson Dinky equivalent instead and threw in some Fishman Fluence 7s and never been happier! Ergonomically epic especially for my bad wrist!
Looks great and sounds great! Although I do find the utility of a fanned fret on a 6 string to be pretty minimal when compared to 7+ strings. I would just use different string gauges on a six string.
I’ve never played a fan fret guitar. Hell, I’ve never even played a guitar (other than a 12 string acoustic) with more than 6 strings. I’d love to try a fan fret to see how it feels and plays. I love the wood look! I’ve been on a natural wood finish kick with guitars lately. Also, as you can tell by my profile picture, I’m a HUGE fan of the EVH speakers and cabs. Great sounding drivers!
You're playing is clearly better. Even if you're not a guitar player but rather an audio engineer/producer, you're playing sounds way much more solid than not so long ago. Nice!
That looks amazing , I would love to know what the FF bridge pickup is modeled after. That thing sounds great so thick and chunky, yet tight at the same time. I alwell like the looks with what looks like an oil finish or something. The G.A.S is real with this one friends!
