CRF450L First Hill Climbs! | Alexis Fights Her Way Through The Trails..

- Let the fun begin! After getting everyone through the first hill climb in the last video the trails open up to an awesome playground of different obstacles, that gave a lot of riders a chance to get comfortable and warm up for the rest of the day.
I finally got to take the CRF450L off of a few jumps and even swapped out with DJ and played around on his RM250 two stroke. Alexis struggled a bit on her CRF150RB but she managed to push on and keep learning!
This is only the beginning of this awesome dirt bike adventure!

Alexis is doing great but damn girl, let that clutch out and let the motor work. I can hear the engine reviving going up a hill and the back tire is not spinning for sure. It was rolling backwards while rev bombing. You can do it!! Roughing it for sure. Props to ya.

I like the 2nd mic, its nice to hear the other guys too and not just your replies to them.
When a bike is stuck in the mud like that, rock it side to side to break the suction by opening up the hole. Then you can pull it out!

You guys would love the riding where I live. We can easily go till we run outta gas and not see pavement.
I live west of Sudbury Ontario. I can leave massey and go to Elliott lake or chapleau no problem if we had time and gas along the way.
looks like alexis needs to practice clutch control. On the hill climbs it looks like shes grabbing a handful of clutch with the throttle making it impossible to go anywhere.
Im glad you gave the climb one more try ahaha. Let that 450 eatt brother sheel take you up anything :) :). Was out for 6hours or so today 15 bikes or so was a timeeee. I gotta make a trip up your way from Canada!

You should check out the Michelin starcross ms3 rear tire its what I just changed to, I ride the same kind of terrain as what you guys are riding and im eating the trails and hills up..so glad you kept the 450😆🤙
If you ever have the chance to get Lexi on a crf230f..I know she had the 230l, but have her give it a try. I got one for my girlfriend and it's an awesome trail bike..will just tractor along in first gear and not overheat like the 150rb

Tell your buddy to check his spark plug cap on the RM, if it's original it might be loose. I have an 04 RM, did the same thing. Replaced with an aftermarket cap, haven't had an issue. I love the vids. I gotta get out to those trails , I'm about 3 hrs away.

The crf150rb needs a set of Michelin star cross 3 tires. I tire the kenda trac master's,,, didn't like them at all.

I was wondering what your technique is riding rock hard really deep rutted trails,with absolutely no give ?
I know to stand on the pegs & look as far ahead as possible & try to be relaxed on the bike .
Some people say lean forward to weight the front wheel,others say the opposite to have your weight back to have the front light .
Some say goslow & steady,other as
fast as possible.
What's your advice please ?
I noticed you use only one finger on the CRF450L clutch. Is it stock or did you do something to make it lighter? I can make it lighter by turning the dial screw, but then it won't declutch fully when I pull the lever againt my other fingers. Do you have any advice on this? Thanks.
Was that Suzuki a 250 2 stroke? How would you rate it for the woods riding. I am just getting back into riding and use to ride a kx100. I’m wondering if I should buy a yz125 or just go straight to a yz250. Im 27, and about 175 without gear.
How is the clutch pull on the 450L? I have been riding my CRF230F on technical trails and hopped on a friend's DRZ400e today for several hours of tech riding. I really missed the easy clutch pull of the 230F!

Tell lex to keep off her clutch every hill she went up she was slipping the clutch 2 much then pulling it on all together hence stopping nd tipping over that's wht it over heated to I'm not been a arse just trying to help
I don't know about the keyboard warrior comment....youve overheated the oil.Thats oil vapour coming out the breather..Its just a matter of a bit of clutch control...If your trying to climb when always always on the friction point of the clutch youll overheat , robbing your drive hence that's why you doesn't make it up the hill. You need to change the oil before next ride.Not trying to troll but give advice....someone yelled ..."LET OUT THE CLUTCH'...good advice

When you are short like me or Alex you have a harder time on tall bikes dude ,, u forget that when referring to other riders abilities including your girlfriend!!!! Thanks 🙏 Mike
