Just shorten the rear & give yourself the space you need, you have not factored in the growth factor of the tires, get your tubs installed and measure everything out giving yourself plenty of room. 9 inch ends and good axles are just a all around investment not only for safety but piece of mind.
15x10 with 6.5 bs is a very common mustang wheel also racestar is inexpensive and will make you a custom offset
just use fender flares on rear and cut use thou wheels lol that look sick

You need to run a 3.5 back spacing on a 8" wheel if you want it to sit inside the factory flare. I run similar rear end setup. There are a few companys that can re spline the factory axles also

Definitely go new style “ Torino” 9inch ends and some nice axles. Bummer since it’s setup, but then you won’t have to fuck around with bullshit c clips. It’ll give you a chance to get some nice dish on the wheels
Can't really tell from the video but did you weld the tubes into the center section? If not that's probably why he wants you yo brace cross link to center section. These years have a nasty habit of breaking the plug welds and spinning the tubes
Should put some limited slip or additive fluid along with the diff fluid

Do Not trust the c-clips. The axels can and will shoot out on a good launch. Seen it plenty of times. Be very cautious. Love your content. Keep up the good work!

Hole shot wheels make some pretty far offsets like a 9 wide you can get a 7 7/8 back space
