Opposition uproar after Lok Sabha Speaker speaker on Emergency era in Parliament

Om Birla was elected as the Speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha. He said it is essential to work together to maintain decorum of the House. He added,'There is a difference between voicing opposition on the streets & that in the House.'
Earlier, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav & Congress MP as well Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had sharp messages for Om Birla.

Endless debate to stop a proposal from getting voted on should never be allowed. Rules of House need to be followed for conducting the discussion and for finally voting on the proposal/bill under consideration.
