  • I very much prefer the LF-4s over the LF-1s, it's incredibly smooth while sliding slowly. Lets me do more ridiculous tricks, even though I don't have my front one way diff installed in this video.
The car in the video is using the MA-020 chassis

How do you like them? Personally I love them, it’s suuuuper easy to break the car lose at low speed, but at the cost of control...

I actually find it pretty easy to control, maybe it's because I'm using the wide rear tyres? I do actually prefer these as I can pull off certain moves I wasn't able to, especially on the Subaru WRX body. This video I recorded with the front diff being stock, as I'm experimenting with a couple of things and was too lazy to put the one way in. Will need to try these on the 030 since it has a nicer front end, but atm my motor wire broke off the board like one of the other guys(I forgot who).

Auranapse oh no! Your wire came off the board?! I really hope I don’t have that issue as I would be SOL due to not having soldering skills.
It’s not that the LF4 weren’t controllable, they just slide more, so the transitions & corners are not as precise as LF1. I was using the LF4 with a front one way, so maybe the e-break effect pair with LF4 was a little too much sliding.

@@BMR3 Yea.. It came off somehow, I barely touched it. I'll be going over to my friend's home to resolder all the cables just in case, and for him to help me out with my Fets on the 020 too.
I'll give the one way diff together with the LF4s a try, it will probably make it harder to control drift on faster longer corners.

Auranapse actually I find the LF4 easier to control on the long curves, it’s buttery. I feel the LF4 lack in tight corners & transitions since they allow the car to slid more.

@@BMR3 What I mean was the front one way diff makes it harder to control a higher speed drift and makes you spin more easily. Interestingly I actually find it easier to control the LF4s in lower speed compared to LF1s. Maybe our camber/toe is different or our driving style that makes us prefer one over the other xD

Hi have you tried LF1, how you compare the two ? I noticed you r drifting on marble floor.

The floor is actually laminated wood, LF1 is much grippier than LF4 on my floor surface. It seems to grip more than stock Kyosho drift tires at least
